Time flew by. After the loss of Creedence, Marie and Newt found themselves staying with Tina and Queenie. Serephina found herself arresting Grindelwald for his crimes.

A cold afternoon sent the trio out with Jacob, only to erase his mind from all the magic he has witnessed. With all the trouble they had gotten into, it was mandatory for them to do so.

Rain poured down, everyone covered themselves with black umbrellas, and set off for their goodbyes. Queenie said goodbye to her love, giving him a lasting kiss, before whispering "obliviate". The trio left without a trace and sent Jacob off. Everyone then returned home.

"Darling," Marie's voiced boomed out into her flat, with Newt sitting on the bed. her accent was thick but Newt found it soothing. Marie walked over to him, sitting behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist.

She pressed soft kisses on his neck, leading her way to his cheek, and then pressing a final kiss to his temple. "I think we need to go back home." she told him. Newt only nodded.

"But all this trouble i've cause..." he began.
"Shhh, sweetheart, you can't place all this blame upon yourself. You are better than that." she stated.

the two went back and forth, soon it became an argument, a heated one if that. Newt blaming himself, Marie sticking up for him when he wouldn't do it himself, turning it into a pity party for the two of them. Then it became a matter of going home, the two went at it for a while into the night.

Marie quickly left the room in a heated, and angered, panic. she grabbed her luggage from her closet and ran back into the room and began packing her items furiously.

"I, am going home. Back to London." She stated, tears began rolling down her cheeks, as she packed.

Newt watched her, his own tears forming in his eyes, threatening to spill over. he felt as if he couldn't go home. there was nothing awaiting him there, nothing awaiting him in New York, he wanted to travel and continue his adventures with his beasts and discover new creatures.

"Now," Marie faced him, sniffling. "You can either come with me, or travel the world. But Newton, I want to go home, and find my own calling. I have nothing here but you. I want to go home with you and start our own family." She told him. She choked on her sobs and excused herself from the bedroom.

Newt was dumbfounded, and wanted everything with her. He wanted to marry Marie, and start a family in London of course. He wanted two children, who possessed the same magic as their parents, and hopefully the love for fantastic beasts as their father. But Newts adventures weren't over all. he was at a cross roads.

Morning rolled around, and Newt had awoken to a note on the nightstand.

"Newt, My love, I am ready to begin the next chapter of our lives, and you want something else. Currently, I'll assume it's about eight in the morning, knowing that is when you wake up precisely. I'm already on the next boat out, sailing home. You know where to find me if you chose to follow me. I love you Darling."

Newt still unsure of what to do, could only sigh in frustration, and place his head in his hands and let out soft sobs.

He packed his belongings shortly after his moments to himself, and went upstairs to say his goodbyes to Tina and Queenie, wishing them the best and promising to give them a copy of his book once it was done. He had promised he'd write them every day.

Newt went on his way to the docks, unsure of where he was going. Time could only tell where and when he'd belong.

He boarded the next boat out, changing his paths on his way to london. He needed Marie, and she needed him.
