Jennica's POV
"How was school, hun?" My mom asked as I walked in the house. She sat on the black leather couch in front of the TV, watching the daily episode of Dr.Phil.
"Fine." I sighed, closing the door behind me. "Where's dad?"
"He's out with a couple of friends tonight. He told me he was coming home late tonight." She answered back.
I rolled my eyes and let out a heavy breath. "Of course he is." I muttered to myself. I tossed my bag on the floor. As I walked up the stairs, my mom called after me.
"Can you also walk the dog right now?" She asked. I didn't want to, but I had to. I walked back downstairs and made my way towards the backyard.
"Sure." I answered back. "I'll me more than happy to."

It wasn't raining but it was dark and damp. The sun was hiding behind the grey clouds and the trees swayed gently with the wind making it an eerie atmosphere. Even though it wasn't a pleasant day, I still wanted to go out and get some fresh air.
I thought about what happened at lunch today with Cameron. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day for some reasons. I couldn't focus during class because that was all in my head. Cameron Cameron Cameron all day. I remembered his face when he walked away from me which wasn't harsh at all. It wasn't a "Get the hell away from me" face or a "I'd rather be with satan instead of you" face. I don't even know how to describe it. Let's just say, it was different.
I sighed as I walked towards a trail leading into a forest. I remembered when I was eight years old and I spent majority of my days playing in this forest with my friends. The best part about it was that we had a secret tree house. We had our secret password and handshake in order to get in and we would tell scary stories, play dolls, and even pretended that we were both princesses trapped up in a tower.I remember one day we were playing Rupunzel. Andy, who was on of my friends told me to let down my hair, and oh I did. I let down my hair and even myself. I landed on my arm and cried all the way to my parents. They rushed me to the hospital and I had to get a cast. They wanted to know how I broke my arm and I had to tell them about the treehouse. The day after, they took it down because they thought it was not safe. And that's the story on how I broke my arm when I was eight.
I laughed at that memory. I miss being a little kid.
I looked up and spotted another person in the forest. Being the curious person I am, I decided to walk towards them. They weren't on the trail; they were literally in the forest blended with the buses and trees. Rex-my dog- walked infront of me without making a sound. I walked close enough to get a good view and hid myself behind a large oak tree. I squinted my eyes to get a better look. Brown hair spiked at the front, wearing a black hoodie and light wash jeans. The moment I saw him, I knew it was Cameron., and only Cameron. What are the odds?
He held a black gym bag in his hands and carefully untied it. He took out several things from his bag but I was too far away to see what they were. He placed the items on a tree trunk and lit a lighter. Great. I know where this is going. So he's one of them.
