Cameron's POV
Confusion and fear filled her eyes as she knitted her eyebrows together and scooted away from me. I walked closer and closer to her until there was no room between us. I carefully kneeled down and my eyes met her caramel brown eyes.
"Why did you take me?!" She yelled. "I've only known you for a week! What have I ever done to you?!" Her yells turned into cries.
"Shut your damn mouth and listen to me." I growled.
She gave me dirty look but I just ignored it.
"You're going to be living her for a while."
"Why? I have the right to know!" She demanded.
Rolling my eyes, I continued on talking.
"You have to obey my rules. Everything I say, you have to do. Got it?"
She stuttered and I got impatient. I grabbed her shoulders tightly and held her closer to my face.
"GOT IT?" I yelled louder.
She nodded as tears were running down her face.
"If you escape or disobey my rules, then I will kill you." I smirked and stood up. "And I'm not afraid to do that, hun."
I turned away from her and walked away without looking back or saying another word. I hear her whimper and sob. I tried my best to not look back. I ran up the stairs, ignoring the feeling of guilt.
"Oh, and I hope you're not afraid of the dark." I said, turning the lights off and closing the door behind me.
I walked towards the living room and sat down on the brown leather couch. Putting my feet up on the glass coffee table, I pulled out my phone and texted Bruce since I didn't feel like talking to him.
Cameron:
I locked her in the basement.
Bruce:
Good. Make sure she doesn't escape and make yourself at home. You're going to be living in my house for a couple of weeks.
Cameron:
What exactly are you going to do to her?
Bruce:
You'll see, Cam. You'll see.
