Chapter 5- "Goodnight babe."

Five Days Later

Cameron's POV

I paced my room back and forth, anxiously waiting for a phone call. Each minute that ticked by felt like an eternity. Stopping, I picked up my phone from my bed and examined the screen. No missed calls or text messages. At least, not yet.

I tossed it back on the bed carelessly as I continues pacing the room back and forth.

Come on Bruce. I've been waiting for your damn call for hours

Ring Ring Ring

Instantly, I walked towards my bed and picked up the phone.

Ring Ring Ring

Perfect. The right person at the right time. I answered the call and put my phone to my ear.

"Hey, Bruce." I greeted him.

"Cam! How's high school been for you so far?" He asked curiously.

I sat down on my bed and sighed.

"Terrible! I can't believe you had to send me there." I complained. "Even thought it's been a week, i've suffered enough. When do you want her?"

"She's the only reason why I sent you there, Cam." Bruce explained. "And tomorrow at 9:00pm sharp at my place. If you're not there with her by 9:00pm, then bad things are going to happen. You hear me boy?" He raised his voice.

"Yeah. I wont disappoint you boss." I answered back.

"Good. I'll see you tomorrow with her."

"I promise you." I assured.

"You better. Bye."

Just as I was about to say bye, the other line went dead. I sighed and tossed my phone on the bed again. I collapsed onto my bed and groaned loudly. Tomorrow is finally the day.

Jennica's POV

"Do you want to go out for an after school snack? Maybe we can get some frozen yogurt at the new place that just opened up across the school. Or we can always go to get pizza. I heard they're having a two for one deal today." Megan said, looking at me and Alyssa.

"Pizza? Meg, I'm on a diet!" Alyssa answered back with her hands in the air. "And you said snack, not a pre-dinner."

"Fine. I'll get pizza and you'll go get a little salad or something." Megan answered back, rolling her eyes. "Or How about Subway?" She asked.

"Their line ups are so long after school though!" Alyssa whined.

I laughed at their conversation.

"You guys are always arguing on where to go and what to eat." I shook my head and smiled as I took my bag out of my locker. I closed my locker door, looking at them. "I have to go study for a bio test and I have tons of homework. Martin gave us an essay to do over the week and I have to get started. I'll tag along some other time."

"Don't leave me alone with this loser!" Megan pouted her lips. Alyssa's jaw dropped.

"Hey!" She said, slapping her on the arm. "You know you love me."

Megan laughed. "Of course I do."

"You guys have fun. I got to go. See you tomorrow!" I waved at them.

"Bye Jen!" They both said in sync.

I walked away, heading for the back doors which lead to the student parking lot. As I got closer, I looked outside and frowned. It looked like it was going to storm pretty soon. Once I exited the building, the thick, humid air surrounded me. The clouds started to rumble, indicating that it was going to rain any minute.

The parking lot was nearly empty which made my car visible to spot. I walked towards my car but before I could even touch the door handle, someone grabbed me from the waist and pulled me back. I screamed loudly, hoping someone could hear me. My heartbeat was racing and adrenaline pumped into my body. I tried to fight back; punching, kicking, and biting but nothing seemed to work. Their grip was too tight.

"HELP ME! SOMEONE HELP!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "CALL THE POLICE!" I cried out.

"Shut up." They muttered.

I screamed louder and louder for help. Tears were running down my face as if they were heavy raindrops dripping from the sky.

"Goodnight babe." A deep, raspy voice whispered in my ear. They held a cloth-like material in front of my face and before you knew it, everything went black.
