Ninja and girl

Lunch and fight.

Lloyd's pov

After the bus dropped us off at the school, I told Khloe to stick by me so I could show her around.
"Ok. Where do you want to go first?" I asked.
"The library." She said instantly.
"Ok. Library it is." I said.
I led her to the library and as we came through the doorway, everyone in there looked at us.
"So, what kind of books do you like to read? You know, what genre is your favorite?"I asked her.
"Romance, mystery, drama, action, and comics." She said.
Wait! Did she say comics?

"You read comics too? Like really?" I demanded. She nodded. "They're my favorite!" She exclaimed. What!? I'm always called a dork for reading comics. She's awesome!! I know we're gonna be BEST friends! She's gotta meet the guys! They're gonna love her!! Especially Nya. I grabbed her hand. "Come on. I want you to meet my friends." I said excitedly. "Okay." She smiled. I led her into the hallway.
The guys were standing around the lockers.

"Hey guys!" I called. They all looked at me. "Hey Lloyd! What's up? Who is that? Wait, is she the new girl?" Kai demanded. I nodded.
"Well new girl, what is your name?" He asked.
"Khloe Brown." She answered.
Nya stepped up. "Khloe, where did you get that shirt? That is so cute! You have to tell me where you got it!" She said.
"I got it at a thrift store." Khloe told her.
"I've got to shop at a thrift store. They have cute stuff." Nya murmured.
The bell for first period. Khloe had social studies so Nya showed her where to go because she had the same class.

Fast forward to lunch.

The bell rang for lunch and I quickly jumped out of my seat. I ran down the hall and found Khloe with Nya.
"Khloe! Nya! Wait up!" I called. I caught up with them.
"Aww. Lloyd can't be without his new girlfriend. How sweet." Someone said mockingly. I turned around.
Jake. One of my biggest enemies in this school. I rolled my eyes.
We sat at a table and started talking.

Jake sat across from us.
"Well, what do you know. A new girl that's a loser. What a surprise. Tell me new girl, do you get your clothes from a dumpster?" He teased.
I felt my blood run faster, and adrenaline rush through my body. How dare he! Khloe didn't do anything to him! "Leave her alone Jake!" I snarled.
He looked at me. "What did you say, loser?" He got up.
"I said leave her alone." I repeated. Jake walked over to me. "You really want to start something that you won't be able to live through?" He said with venom in his voice. I stood up. "Leave her alone." I said.
He pushed me to the ground. I got up and pushed him back. Two of his friends grabbed my arms and held me. Jake got up and punched me.

Khloe's pov

Lloyd kicked Jake but it didn't stop him. Jake just kept hitting him. The two boys who were holding Lloyd's arms kept telling Jake to hit him again. "Not so tough now. Are you Lloyd?" Jake laughed. Lloyd kicked him. That made Jake hit him again.
I had to do something. I got up and walked over to Jake and the next thing I know, Jake and his two friends are on the ground holding their faces.
I helped Lloyd get up. His face was surely going to bruise. His bottom lip was busted. I put his arm around my shoulders to support him.
But I had a few words to say to Jake.
"Touch my friend again; and I will end you. And that's a promise." I threatened. Alot of 'oohs' went through the cafeteria.
Lloyd held his side as I helped him get to the nurse. As we walked down the hall, Lloyd rested his head on my shoulder.
"Khloe." He said quietly. "You're amazing."
I could only smile at him. We got to the nurse and she took him inside her office.
This may sound crazy but this was the best first day ever.
