Ninja and girl

Losing one.

Lloyd's pov.

The boat suddenly flipped over. We all four fell into the water. I grabbed Khloe and Kai grabbed Alice. We went up to the surface for air.
"Sssurprise ninjasss!" I heard hissing behind me. I looked behind me. Pythor and Skales.
"Guys! Swim!" I yelled. Kai grabbed Alice's shirt collar and swam. Khloe grabbed my hand and we both started to swim. We were almost out to the shallows, but we were stopped by Pythor and Skales in front of us. Of course. Snakes are fantastic swimmers.

"You will all die. We're going to kill you." Skales hissed.
"Or." Pythor interrupted. "You let us conquer Ninjago. And we'll leave you to live happy little lives."
I looked over Pythor's shoulder. Ninjago. Everyone is happy. Children playing around. Lovers holding hands and walking down the street. But if Pythor and Skales were to take over there would be nothing.
"That's not gonna happen." I said. 

Skales jumped, grabbed Khloe, and dragged her underwater.
"No!" I cried. I went underwater and swam after them. I could see blood in the water. I began praying that it wasn't Khloe's. I was almost to them.
When I finally reached them, Skales scratched my face with a knife.
Distracting me enough for him to bite Khloe's shoulder. I grabbed him and punched his snout.
He scratched my shoulder with his claws. I got him away from Khloe. I grabbed her hand and pulled her up. We were almost to the surface, when suddenly Skales grabbed her again, and slashed her chest with the knife. I kicked him. And I finally reached the surface. Khloe's chest had a deep gash, and was bleeding terribly.
"Come on guys! If we don't hurry, Khloe won't make it!" I yelled. I started swimming as fast as I possibly could. Khloe closed her eyes.
I started swimming even faster. We were almost there.

We made it to the shore, and that's when Khloe stopped breathing.
"Khloe wake up." I shook her. "Wake up, Khloe! Wake up!"
Kai pulled me off of her. Alice started mouth to mouth resuscitation on her.
Kai held me back. I can't count how many times I elbowed him in the ribs. "No!" I screamed.
Alice lowered her head. I screamed as I plunged my first into the ground.

"This isn't how it's supposed to end." Kai whispered.
