Ninja and girl

School days.

Lloyd's pov.

Ugh. Another day of school. How lovely. Another day of getting discriminated and ridiculed because I'm the son of Garmadon. Oh well, I'm so used to it. But sometimes the things kids say just kinda hurt alot. As a ninja, people should look at me for who I am and not who my father is.

So I get out of bed and get dressed into my school clothes and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. But just as I put the toothpaste on the toothbrush, I'm stopped by a girl singing right next door.

'Somewhere out there. Beneath the pale moonlight, someone's thinking of me. And loving me tonight.'

Wow! I've never heard anyone sing like that before. I drop my toothbrush and rush to the window to see who that girl was. But, I didn't see her. Where could she be?
"Lloyd, you're going to be late for school!" My mom yells. I quickly brush my teeth and hair and go down to the kitchen where my mom was.

"Hey. Guess what I found out today. There's new neighbors a few blocks away and they have a girl. She's sixteen like you. And she'll be going to your school today." My mom told me.
A new girl?! Really?! I can't believe it!!
"Wow. It's been awhile since we got any new neighbors or a new person a school. Kinda surprising." I said.
"Yeah. Maybe you two can be friends. Really good friends." She assumed.

She walked out of the kitchen and went into her room.
"Hopefully." I muttered under my breath. Most of the kids at school will probably tell her about me and then she may be like the rest of them. A hater.

So I went to the bus stop and waited for my bus. As usual, Sarah and Linda were waiting too. "Ew. Lloyd, you need to take a bath. You reek of evilness." Linda laughed. I rolled my eyes. I'm used to this. Everyday.
The bus came and as usual whichever side I sat on, everybody else would move to the other side.
The bus stopped again and picked up a girl. I've never seen her before. She must be the new girl!! She's absolutely beautiful!!

"Oh my goodness. The new girl. Boring. She looks so tacky." A girl said.
The girl kinda looked around and started to walk down the aisle. She sat in the seat in front of me. She had long ginger hair, hazel eyes, and a little bit of freckles on her face. She was gorgeous!!

"Hey new girl, where'd you get your clothes? At a thrift shop?" A boy asked teasingly. Everyone except for me laughed. Ok. A white shirt with a pink heart on it, and jeans are not thrift shop clothes! I was getting angry.
"Hey! I know why she came here! Because at her old school, nobody wanted her there!" A girl shouted. And once again, everyone but me laughed.

The bus stopped again, and I took it as an opportunity to sit in the seat with her. "If you're sitting here to criticize me, feel free to go back to the seat you were in before." She said boldly.
I looked at her. She was looking back at me dead in the eyes. She was serious. I quickly shook my head.
"I'm not like them. I kinda know how you feel. They treat me wrong too." I told her. She looked back down. Poor girl. What a horrible first day for her.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Lloyd Garmadon."
She looked back at me and smiled a little. "I'm Khloe Brown. Nice to meet you Lloyd." She said.
I felt my face go warm. "Hey. Do you want to be friends?" I asked. She nodded her head. "Sure."
Just wait until the other ninjas find out about this. A new bestie.

"Just you wait, Khloe. I have some other friends are going to love to meet you." I told her. She smiled at me.
