I watch the well dress, dark hair guy in disbelief. His honey golden eyes widen as he said my name.
I held back the urge to hug him and remain calm for I would of cause a big scene.
'Daughter of Tremaine found hugging a guy at Clair de luna'.
I wasn't ready for that news.
Ryan Riley is a childhood friend of mine since I was Four. I knew him because his father was my fathers best friend. We did everything together we were best buddies, but it all came to an end when his father remarried and had to move because of his new wife. I lost every contact I ever had with Ryan. So seeing that he's back was a big shock to me.
"So you work here?"
"Yeah. Turns out I have a natural talent for it." He said smiling.
I couldn't help but feel a warm fuzzy sensation inside of me when he smile.
"Ryan!" A guy shouted him out.
Ryan turn towards the Island where the guy had call him. He turn towards me and spoke,
"My shift is over." He held his hand on his chin then look at me, "But I'll serve you one drink under special condition."
"special condition?" I asked confuse.
"Yeah when a shift is over, we're not supposed to be serving, unless your shift is over at the same time you're seeing a very important person. You can serve them one drink then pass it on to another, to avoid confusion." Ryan explain.
"And because of your position you're valid." He continue.
"Oh." I nod
(I didn't know they had such a rule.)
"So what would you like?" He ask.
"Hmm... I'll have a Blue Margarita." I said.
The blue Margarita is a classic blue curacao cocktail. With tequila, blue curacao, triple sec and lime juice. Salt is usually paced around the rim and it's garnish with a lime wedge at the side.
"Okay." He then disappear to prepare my drink.
I sat quietly waiting.
