"What are you saying all of a sudden?" I ask.
He then ran his fingers through my hair. It went through smoothly.
"You looked cute with long hair, I like this Niya better than the old one."
"Ryan." I said.
(Could it be the drinks are getting to him?)
He laugh then took his seat, I look away from him.
(How can he say something like that then laugh it off.)
I then glance at him who was ordering some more drinks.
"I don't think I can go any more." I admit.
Two drinks was then place in fount of us.
"Hhmmm... I taught that you'll have more resistance than this." He said then mumble averting his eyes from me, "and I order it special for you, seeing that I have miss your birthday and I didn't get you a gift."
I smile.
"You remembered my birthday?" I ask.
"Why won't I? We're friends after all." He said.
My smile widen.
(I guess I can handle one more drink.)
I look at the glass.
"Alright I'll have one more drink but that's it." I said.
He smile and took up his glass holding it towards me. I did the same.
We clink our glass as Ryan spoke,
"Happy birthday Niya."
"Thank you."
We then drink our cocktails.
"Hmm.." I said.
The drink almost taste the same as the one I was having before but this time I was tasting vodka and champagne. I look at Ryan.
"Mind telling me what am having?" I ask
"It's call midnight kiss, made out of vodka, blue curacao, lemon juice and champagne." He said
"Oh..."
(Isn't this drink usually sever between couples.)
I smile as I enjoy the drink with Ryan.
