As I wait patiently on my drink, I fiddle with the menu a bit.
A cocktail glass with a blue liquid was then place down in fount of me. I watch as the water drizzle down the glass, and the salt around the rim.
Ryan sat down opposite of me taking off his gloves and putting it in his pocket. He then let of a breath if relief.
"Finally am finish." He said then take a drink from the brown liquid in a glass.
I inhale.
(Smells like he's having bourbon 'Brandy'.)
"So when did you came back?" I asked.
"A few weeks ago." He said slipping his drink.
He look at me as I took a drink out of my cocktail.
My eyes widen.
"This is good. You made it?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"Wow." I took another slip.
Trying not to drink it down in one gulp, I took my time savouring the orange flavored drink. The salt and lime had disguise the taste of tequila perfectly.
He really has a natural talent for this, unlike me who had to try 20 times before getting it right.
"You've grown a lot Niya. Last time I saw you, you looked like a boy." He said I look at him.
"That was thirteen years ago.. I was a tomboy back then." I said.
"Yeah you got me fooled too. By the amount of fights you get yourself into. We always come home with bruises and marks." He laugh.
(He was right. When I was a kid I used to pick a lot of fights especially with the boys. Ryan was always there to get me out of trouble)
As I reminisce, I laugh along with him.
