"What are you doing up so late?" I ask.
I try to cover up my fluster look, by taking another slip of the tea.
"I should be asking you that question." Linda said walking up to me.
"Oh I couldn't sleep so I just thought of having tea." I said fiddling with the cup.
"Why that is?" She then ask taking out a cup and pour some tea in it but this time she used chocolate.
"Oh just some stuff I can't get off my mind." I fiddle some more with the cup then look away from her.
She then sat on the high stool. Taking a sit.
"Did you perhaps meet someone today?"
(She hit the nail on the head.)
I look at her, "How did you know?"
I walk over and took a sit next to her.
"Well... The you right now was me when I was younger. So it was easy to guess." She said.
"I guess you're right." I said.
"So who's the guy?" Linda ask.
"What makes you think its a guy?" I ask.
"There's no way a girl is going to make you that fluster and pacing like that." Linda point out to me, "Unless you're.."
"What? No am not."
Linda giggle softly at my sudden denial.
(I guess she's knows me better than me.)
"So who is he?" She ask
I look at her then back to the cup that I was holding in my hand.
"It's Ryan." My eyes avert from the cup of tea.
"Ryan?!" Linda ask surprise, "He came back? How's he doing?"
"Yeah he's back and he's fine, His father and stepmother are doing great also." I said.
"Okay that's good." She took a slip of her tea, "Anyway what's going on?"
I look up at her for a while then spoke softly,
"That's the thing, I don't know."
