Have you ever wondered why little kids are afraid of their shadows? Maybe they can see something we cant. I can sometimes see it too, but I tell myself that it's not there. It has claws longer and sharper than knives. When i try to tell people, they call me names and walk away. The only person who seems to believe me is my best friend Josh and a couple of other people, Josh's sister Rylan and Rylan's best friend Dylan. I don't really know Dylan that much because he's rarely around due to band and choir trips. I see the figure almost daily, the last time I saw it was early this morning. I woke up, looked out the window and saw it, right below the street light a block from my house. It stood there and watched me as I watched it. Then, with a blink of an eye, it was gone. I told my friends about what happened and Josh asked if I had actually seen it. "Yes, I know I saw it." I said.

                                                                                          ***

I was in my Biology class when I saw it again. This was the first time I've seen it twice in one day,  it was odd... I rubbed my eyes, and it was gone. Every time i would switch classes, i would watch over my shoulder, just in case it was there. "HEY!!" Josh yelled in my ear. "Hey Josh, what's up?" I said after he stopped messing with me about "Oh, you jumped so bad dude!" Josh started talking, but I wasn't paying any attention to what he was talking about, I was looking at something that was behind him. It was standing at the end of the hall. The lights started flickering and glowing brighter and brighter until.... "Dude, what are you looking at?" Josh asked me. Josh looked towards the end of the hall, and asked me, "Dude, what is it?" The hall was back to normal, no flickering lights or monsters that wanted to kill you, It was gone.
