Dr. Cinder studied the book for a long time. Every once in a while, he would he would mumble "ah." or "i see." He got to the page with the Shadow Demon on it. He studies the page very closely while i sat there and stared in fascination. *He's going to help?* I think. I wasn't crazy. I was the only one who actually saw it and believed it. Dr. Cinder looked up from the ancient book. "The demon seems to have a connection with this book. It looks like, over the centuries, many different people have put their blood in these pages, but the last person to put their blood in this book was apart of your bloodline. it seems the only ways to get rid of the demon is to either destroy the bloodline, pass this curse to someone else, or destroy the book." He said with grief thick in his voice. "what about Josh?" I ask suddenly. "what?" Dr. Cinder asked caught off guard. "Josh." i say. "he's seen it too." I say quietly. "Oh" Dr. Cinder said thoughtfully. "He was either lying, or....maybe....." He drifted off. "maybe what?" I ask hurriedly. "maybe it doesnt just effect the bloodline. Maybe it effects the people around them too." His eyes go wide. "where is Josh?!" he asked frantically. "He should be at home" i answer him. "Oh shit." he says under his breath, his face going pale. "we need to destroy this book." Dr. Cinder said.

We rushed as fast as we could over to Josh's house. Luckily, he only lives two blocks away from my house. When we got there, we rushed up to the door and started banging on it. Josh's mom answered the door. "How may I help you?" she asked, kind of annoyed. "where is Josh?" i asked frantically.  "I got a text form him earlier saying he was going to your house. He never came home." she said skeptically.
