Throb. All i see is darkness. Throb. I open my eyes, and everything is a mixed blob in my vision. I feel blood running down the back of my head. i reach up and feel the sticky, copper smelling liquid. Throb. "ow" i croak out. My vision clears enough to see a slumped over body of Rylan, blood running down her cheek and down her throat. "Rylan" I try to say, but my voice fails me, so it only comes out as a dull whisper. I try to turn my head, but a sharp pain keeps me from moving. Throb. "Deep and dark, where they lay to rest" I keep hearing it echo in my broken skull. I try to stand up. blood drips onto the gym floor. I stand and stumble towards Rylan. I slip on my own blood. Throb. "Deep and dark..." "shut up." I think. Throb. I taste blood, but I ignore it. I stumble to Rylan. I sit down next to her and feel her pulse. It is dull, but still there. I search the room for Dylan. I look to my left. Throb. I look to my right. Throb. Then right across the room, i see her. The 6'3" girl that teased me just earlier today, was sitting up against the wall with her face frozen in fear. the worst part about it, was that her head was beside her. Throb.

I stand up, my head still throbbing from being thrown. "Rylan" I croak out. "Rylan, get up" her head moves the slightest, then it lifts, her eyes are slits, and she looks around slowly, taking the scene all in. "Dylan...?" she asks groggily. I look over, seeing Dylan's dead, lifeless body, tears swell in my eyes. a glint of red catches my attention. "the police, they're here" I say to Rylan.
