"They found a piece of Josh's clothing." Dr. Cinder said gravely. "What?!" Rylan and I said, sitting up. "Where?" Dr. Cinder took a seat and put his head in his hands. "In the cemetery" he said in a muffled voice. Oh no. I think. the cemetery is the WORST place for Josh to be. "We have to go!" I demanded. "No. you must stay here and heal. I will not be having you hurting yourselves again." Dr. Cinder walked out of the room and told a nurse to make sure that neither of us leave. Rylan and I looked at each other, knowing full well that we weren't leaving.

The next few days went by slowly, with little to no sleep and playing games. "I can't take it anymore" Rylan said one night. We were in different beds now, because after the other night, it had gotten awkward. "I know" I answer back. "Just think, after tomorrow, we get to get out of this Hell-hole." "Yeah" Rylan said, drifting off to sleep. I fell asleep a few minutes after her.

The next morning, we got up, ate breakfast, and waited on Dr. Cinder's usual daily visit. We sat there for two to three hours, and yet still no Cinder. 10 minutes before we were about to stop waiting, Dr. Cinder walked through the door with his head down. "What's wrong Dr. Cinder?" Rylan asked uneasily. Then he raised his head. His eyes were full of pure darkness and hate. "Nothing, sweetheart" He said.
