The room was dark. I spun around multiple times, hoping my eyes would adjust. They never did. I heard the streaks of a blade on rock being made somewhere close to me.

I tried moving my hands, but they were tied together behind my back that was against something. I looked down and I was sitting in a chair. I yelled for help, but nothing came from my mouth.

I saw Jace's face emerging from the darkness and I smiled, hoping he would untie me.

I remembered that I couldn't trust him. I couldn't really trust anyone anymore.

His sly grin turned into a cocky smirk. As he came into a clearer view as a light came on, I noticed the long, dark sword in his hands. In his other hand he held smaller daggers.

He walked beside me and I felt an excruciating pain in my stomach. I looked down to see that one of the daggers was dug deep in my stomach and blood was pouring from the wound. I felt another pain as another dagger was dug into my skin. And another.

With five small daggers dug in my skin, I groaned and looked at him standing in front of me. His head tilted with the same smirk displayed upon his features.

One by one the daggers were pulled from my skin very slowly, causing more pain than they did before. Blood was pouring from my body. Almost every inch of the ground below me was covered in my blood.

Jace never said a word to me. He was just slowly killing me.

He left for a while. My wounds weren't healing. When he came back, I knew that my body wasn't producing anymore blood and the bite wasn't working. I could tell all color from my face was gone. I was sweating like crazy. My body was almost drained of blood. The contents of my stomach could almost be seen from the wounds, if only the blood was no longer there.

Jace entered my view with the sword in his hands once again. He stepped behind me and I knew what was to come.

It was the same every night. I looked froward and I saw him. The person I wanted to see more than anything to save me from my dreaded cousin. Luke was running towards me but he was stopped by an invisible wall. He was hitting the wall with everything he could. He was crying and screaming for me. Then I saw Cooper doing the same. Then there was Zack. Saunders ran over with tears falling from his eyes like waterfalls his fist were banging on the wall as he yelled for me. Then my parents joined the riot. Ariel and Tara came together crying harder than the rest. Then, there was Collin standing with Darcy, Talia, Alec, and Jeda. All of them, but Collin had worried looks on their faces. Collin's face was one of happiness and joy.

Tears were rolling down my face and I stifled loudly as Jace snickered behind me.

I felt a sharp pain before I was standing elsewhere and I turned. My head was rolling on the floor. Jace had a happy grin on his face as my aunt and uncle stood by his side and hugged him in congratulations. Steve and his crew came into view as well and congratulated him.

I got dressed in a slow manner. I ate breakfast slowly. I drove to their hotel slowly. I walked to their hotel room slowly.

I knocked on their door and greeted them. I made sure to put on a shit ton of perfume so they couldn't smell me. I drove them back quiet fastly, though. I wanted to spend the least amount of time with them as I could. I didn't even want to spend time with Jace anymore.

We all sat in our living room. I was staring at the wall, while everyone talked.

I broke my state from the wall when I heard a car pulling into the drive. I scrunched my eyebrows together. I stood up and walked to the window that looked out to the driveway. A black SUV was sitting in the driveway. It's lights were still on. I saw a high heel clad foot stick itself from the open passenger car door. I saw the side of a woman's face. An older woman. I still couldn't see her face. Then, she turned her head and I knew who it was. The god-awful woman I knew would kill me if she found out my secret. My grandmother was making her way up the steps, her tight pencil skirt making it somewhat difficult. My throat felt tight. It was difficult to breath. She walked through the door and I felt my world crashing down in front of my eyes. I knew she would find out.
