Claire's POV

Here I am in this dress standing outside this beautiful house-mansion-with Luke holding my hand. My hair was tied up in this weird up-do that Tara did. She said I'd look beautiful with my hair up and so everyone could see my face. Luke stood beside me in his black suit and grey tie. His hair was pulled back and not messy like usual. His usual lip ring was exchanged for a small, silver ball that was barely noticeable.

I was somewhat nervous to meet Collin. I was scared he might not agree to heal Zack. That was my biggest fear about tonight.

As we walked into the building I notice the shrubs that were molded into the shape of wolves. There were two at each entrance. There were four surrounding the fountain on the front lawn. My heels clicked on the floor and everyone's eyes darted in our direction. I looked at Saunders and he chuckled. He fixed his suit and walked ahead of us. I rolled my eyes and followed him. We stopped at a table that had a name tag, 'Witmore,' it read. Tara and I set our bags at the table.

"You four, go dance. Make it seem like your here for the banquet and not just Collin. I'm going to go find him. Don't go to far," Saunders said before he turned on his heels and disappeared in the crowd. I turned to Luke and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the floor. Tara and Cooper weren't far behind us.

There was a slow, old song that the small band was playing. The band consisted of a cellist, a violinist, a trumpeter, and a young singer. They sounded weird. The music was soothing though.

Luke stopped and pulled me to him with a wide smile lit on his face. I chuckled as we started to dance together. His hands around my waist and mine around his neck. There was barely any space between us. I rested my head on his chest and left a kiss on the top of my head.

Cooper and Tara stood beside us dancing together, but certainly not as close as Luke and I. Only one of Cooper's hands was around her waist. The other hand held hers as they swayed laughing together. Tara was much shorter than Cooper. He had look down so far to look her in the eyes.

When the song is over, we walk back to the table and the boys go to get us some punch. Tara and I sat at the table laughing together when a man walked to our table and took a seat. He was a tall man with dark hair and light eyes. His smile was devilish. He didn't smell human. He had to be one of Colin's men.

"Hello, ladies. I think you're sitting at my friend's table. See, Saunders called telling me he'd finally be coming to my dinner. I haven't seen him. Have you?" He asked with a crooked smile plastered on his gorgeous face. He wasn't one of Collin's men, he was Collin.

"We're with Saunders. He said he was looking for you," I answered.

Collin took a deep breath in as the boys neared the table. "One of you is human," he said looking at the boys.

I grabbed Luke's hand and pulled him close to me. If he could just smell him with all these people around, then that would mean everyone else here isn't human.

My heart started to be faster and I could hear Luke's starting to beat faster too.

"Well, which one of you is it?" He asked motioning to the boys. Luke stood forward still holding my hand tight.

"Oh so, you brought your human boyfriend. Not a very wise choice, Clairese. You should know better," he said pointing his finger at my and shaking it. How did he know my name? How did he know my name?

"How do you know my name?" I asked Collin as I stepped forward, pushing Luke behind me.

"How could I not? Your mother talks an awful lot about you," he said as he stood.
