"You should've said something." Lance sits on a metal chair with his hand outstretched, a cut stretching from the webbing of his inner thumb down across his palm. After having stopped the bleeding, Keith delicately wrapped the gauze around Lance's hand and down to his wrist. Lance took this opportunity to properly look at the boy before him; his eyes trailed across the pale skin of his neck, glancing down at the collar bones that subtly jut out from beneath his black shirt. He brought his eyes back up to the boy's face; noticing the way his long lashes brush against his cheek as he dedicates all of his focus to healing Lance's hand, and the way he purses his lips together slightly in concentration. Lance quickly looked away from the boy as he could feel his heart beginning to speed up.

"You shouldn't have but in." He replied snarkily. Keith finally looked up at the boy and their eyes met. Lance couldn't help the mesmerising feeling he got as he stared into the pools of deep violet in front of him. They held their stares, seemingly lost in each other, unwavering.  Lance could feel the warmth from Keith's fingers holding his injured wrist, making no effort to let go any time soon. Lance could feel the heat rising to his cheeks and quickly averted his eyes, pulling his hand away as if to inspect it. Keith soon realised how long he had been holding onto the boy and a light blush dusted over his cheeks.

"How did you cut your hand anyway?" He asked, breaking the awkward silence that they had been sitting in. Lance shrugged, opening and closing his injured hand with a bored expression.

"I dunno, I guess I scraped it against something when you crashed into me."

"What? You crashed into me!" Keith furrowed his eyebrows into a scowl and pointed an accusing finger towards Lance.

"Uhh no, you quite clearly tripped me over in the middle of the hall." Lance spoke slowly as if to point out the facts and raised his eyebrows in challenge.

"Are you kidding me? You burst through the door without even looking where you were going!" Keith raised his voice and stood up, crossing his arms over his chest. He couldn't believe the way this boy was acting. Here he was trying to help fix Lance's hand and he was accusing him of something that was clearly not his fault! Lance also rose to his feet, placing his hands against his hips and tilting his head with a mischievous grin.

"Just admit it Mullet, you made me hurt my hand and so now you owe me." Keith was just about ready to start throwing punches at this kid, thankfully before he could do so  the door beside them opened slightly and a man peeked his head around it.

"HUNK!" Lance exclaimed loudly, throwing his hands into the air as he ran towards his friend. Hunk stepped out from behind the door and enveloped Lance in a friendly bear hug. Keith noticed of the dramatic difference in body type between Hunk and Lance. Although both boys were considerably tall, Lance was quite thin and lanky in comparison to Hunk who was much more well-rounded and even somewhat masculine. He wore an orange bandanna across his forehead, keeping his dark hair out of his face. Both boys wore large smiles as they laughed and joked around, almost forgetting that Keith was even in the same room. Eventually they pulled away from their hug and Hunk glanced over Lance's shoulder.

"Who's this?" He cocked his head in Keith's direction and Lance looked over and scowled.

"That's Mullet-head, or Mullet for short." He leaned his elbow against Hunk's shoulder and smirked at the shorter boy. Keith was a tiny pit of rage at this point, he hated being teased for the way he looks.

"Hey c'mon man don't be like that." Hunk nudged Lance in the ribs lightly before walking over to stand before Keith, extending his hand out towards him. "I'm Hunk, I just arrived to help out with the show. I'm sorry about Lance, he's just naturally irritable." Hunk offered a friendly smile and Keith shook his hand, giving his name in return. Lance raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Hey I'm not irritating! I'm everybody's lover-boy Lance." He smirked and winked as he said this. Hunk and Keith both rolled their eyes before Hunk began to engage Lance in a conversation Keith knew nothing about. He watched as these two people talked, it was obvious that they were very close, but Keith wondered how close. He felt a tiny ache in his chest but decided to ignore it.

"You guys are a cute couple." He said interrupting the two mid-conversation, he didn't mean to say it so blatantly, and hoped that he didn't seem too creepy.

"Oh no we're-"

"The cutest couple ever!! Right Hunky-poo~" Lance wrapped an arm around Hunks shoulder and began drawing circles on his cheek with one of his long fingers, squishing his face to make an exaggerated kissy-face. Hunk just rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Don't pay attention to him, we're not a couple. Lance and I have been best friends since we were kids. We're like brothers I guess." Keith's eyes widened at his mistake.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I...I just thought...cause you two were so close I just assumed...." A bright blush was painted over his cheeks in embarrassment and he averted his eyes to the floor.

"It's OK dude don't worry about it." Hunk replied while Lance only smirked at the boys reaction. He pushed himself off of Hunk's shoulder and sauntered over to Keith, who was still blushing profusely with his head down. Lance leaned down slightly and placed his finger underneath the boys chin, gently lifting it to face him. His smirked grew seductively wider and he inched his face just that little bit closer to the surprised boy.

"Don't worry, there's plenty of me to go around." He whispered. Keith's eyes widened slightly and his breath hitched in his throat. Lance noticed the boy was frozen, but not pulling away.

This could be fun. He thought  as he turned and strut out the door, leaving a confused Keith and an exasperated Hunk behind.
