Chapter-15

Kai's (POV)

All of us with some other of my bodyguards drove towards Kyungsoo's college with our weapons just after Jungkook called. We reached the college in 15 minutes. We ran inside the school campus and we saw all the students in the cafeteria. All of them looking quite scared. We saw one of the students hurt. He had a bullet wound in his hands. So I told Lay hyung to help the student and left him with Suho and 2 other bodyguards. Remaining of us went to look for Kyungsoo. One of the students helped us, telling us that she saw Kyungsoo, Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung run outside the school where art room was located.

We went to where she said. We checked all the rooms but there was no one. The only room left was the drama practice room. I opened the door. And what I saw made me pale. Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung were fighting 10 men and Kyungsoo was lying on the floor with some other guy knocked out. Others helped Jimin, Tae and Kook to beat the men and capture them. And they knocked out Mr.Shin's men in a second. I quickly walked towards Kyungsoo and I got scared when I saw blood. When I was closer, I realised that the other man laying beside Kyungsoo was Minjae and that the blood was from him. Then I saw Kyungsoo wearing a chain same as the chain Minjae was wearing.

I ignored it and went to check on Minjae. I checked his pulse but there was nothing. His heart wasn't beating. He was...dead. I carried Kyungsoo bridal style and told Hoseok to carry Minjae's body. We went to the hospital directly leaving Kris, Chen and Xiumin hyungs to deal with the situation in school. When we reach the hospital the doctors and nurse took Kyungsoo to check up on him while some other doctors checked Minjae's body. They told us that he died because of blood lose because of the bullet wound. After a while some doctors told me about Kyungsoo. They said that Kyungsoo was okay and had only fainted because of the intense emotion that he  suddenly felt. And that it was bad to feel intense emotion  suddenly for pregnant people. And I sighed in relief at the news that Kyungsoo wwa okay.

Author's (POV)

After the doctor left them, Kai asked Jungkook what really happened there. "Well hyung you already know that they were there for Kyungsoo. We hid Kyungsoo in the closet inside the drama practice room. But one of the man yelled that he will kill one of us if Kyungsoo himself didn't come out. And... he came out. When I hid him I gave him a gun if it came to any use. So when he came out he shoot one of the men on his leg and one of them got angry and tried to shoot at Kyungsoo." He stopped. "Then how is Minjae the one who died?" Kai asked. "Well Minjae stood in front of Kyungsoo when Mr.Shin's men fired the gun at Kyungsoo. The bullets hit him instead of Kyungsoo." He said. "Why did he saved Kyungsoo when he hated Kyungsoo?" Kai asked. "I don't really know hyung but their was something between them. When Minjae collapsed at the floor, Minjae said sorry to Kyungsoo for bullying him and said he bullied him because he was angry that Kyungsoo didn't remember him. And Kyungsoo asked what he meant. Then without saying anything Minjae sang a verse of a song. Then it felt like Kyungsoo suddenly remembered him and started calling Minjae, 'Jae hyung'. Then Kyungsoo started crying pleading to Minjae to not leave him again. And Minjae confessed to Kyungsoo and told Kyungsoo that he can't save him now so asked him to just kiss him one last time. And Kyungsoo did kissed." Jungkook said and took a deep breath afterwards.

Kai was still confused thinking about what their relationship might be but he decided to call Minjae's father. He told him to come to the hospital. Minjae's parents came there in 10 minutes and the doctors took them to the room where Minjae's body was kept. Kai went with them. The parents broke down knowing that their only son was now dead. "What happened?" Minjae's father asked in a defeated tone. "He died saving Kyungsoo." Kai shortly answered. "I knew it. For Kyungsoo he would do anything." His mother said. Kai and the doctor helped the heart broken parents up and sat them down on the couch.

"Can you please tell me what kind of relation Minjae and Kyungsoo had?" Kai asked. "My son and Kyungsoo had know other since the day Kyungsoo was born. My son was only one year older than him. My son had always loved Kyungsoo. When my son talks to us all he says is Kyungsoo this Kyungsoo that. Minjae called him 'Kyung' while Kyungsoo called Minjae 'Jae hyung'. They were lovely together. Everyone thought they would end up together. Kyungsoo's mother died when Kyungsoo was 5 and half years and his father started abushing him. Minjae would always help  Kyungsoo smile. But due to what I was we had to move away from Korea. We moved on Kyungsoo's  6 birthday. The day before his birthday Minjae asked me to buy two similar lockets which have similar medal. He wore the one and gave the other one to Kyungsoo as his birthday present. They promised to meet each other and to not forget each other. After 9 years we returned to Korea, but my son found out that Kyungsoo had forgotten him. He was angry and sad. Then started bullying Kyungsoo. But when he sees Kyungsoo cry because of his bullying he would come home, not eat anything and cry in his room by himself. We couldn't do anything. My son loved him so much." Minjae's father said.

Kai's heart dropped at the story. If Kyungsoo had remembered Minjae then he wouldn't be in love with him. He felt like it was his fault everything of this happened. He went outside quietly and went to the rooftop of the hospital. And... he cried letting out his frustrations. He felt like it was all because of him. And he regretted some of his life choices. He regretted badly.

Luhan's (POV)

Seokjin and I were in the room Kyungsoo was kept. Kyungsoo slowly opened his eyes. He sat up on the bed slowly. Looking around the room frantically as if searching for something or rather someone. I quickly hugged him. 'Jae hyung jae hyung' kyungsoo was mumbling under his breath. "Where is Jae hyung? Where is he?" Kyungsoo frantically asked. I knew he was talking about Minjae from what Jungkook told. "Kyungsoo he is... dead." I said with an uneasy feeling.

Author's (POV)

When Kyungsoo heard what Luhan said his mind went blank. He started breathing heavily. "No he can't y-you are ly-lying hyung. Jae hyung can't leave me again. H-he can't. Not again. He s-said he lov-loved me. W-why would he lea-leave me if he lo-loved me?" Kyungsoo yelled between sobs throwing things around the room. Luhan nearly got hit by a vase. The doctor came running inside with kai and others. The nurse injected Kyungsoo with something and Kyungsoo fell unconscious again. "Sirs Kyungsoo might be a little violent after this. I think Kyungsoo has been not showing his emotions to others. To help you understand I will give an example. There are people which tries to hide their real emotion. And some of them doesn't cry when they want to. They bottle up their emotions. And when it reach to it's limit, it explodes. Kyungsoo has been someone who had bottle up his emotions and today all his emotions exploded when he saw this Minjae guy." The doctor explained. Others nodded to smshow that they understood. Kai look at Kyungsoo who was now unconscious and he knew Kyungsoo was gonna change. That it won't be the same Kyungsoo they knew.
