Kai Smith lay down on the bridge of the Destiny's Bounty 2.0, relaxing against the burning wood. He breathed in the summer air, closing his eyes. There was no training for today, and so far no new threat. So long as he was quick, he could relax all he wanted.

"You know, if Lloyd sees you just lying there, he kick your butt." Kai groaned, opening his eyes to look up at his younger sister, Nya; she was usually the one toruin his tanning sessions.

"Yeah yeah. Just because we made him the master, doesn't mean he can make us train when we don't have to. It's our day off, and I don't have any chores today," he stated, closing his eyes again.

Nya sighed. "Alright, but it's your funeral." She left, giving her brother another five minutes or so before Lloyd found him.

Speaking of the green ninja, he was currently pacing around in Wu's old study. A few days earlier, there had been a power outage through Ninjago, and not just an electricity outage. No, elemental masters also lost their abilities during the time of the blackout.

Weather experts around the world couldn't explain why the storm had put the masters out of commission. The only thing people had to go on was that maybe there was a hint of vengestone in the lightning.

"It doesn't make sense," the teenage master muttered to himself. "Why would an electrical storm play some part in interfering with our powers?" Lloyd bit at his nails, trying to find out some kind of logical explanation.

Finally, he sat down on his bed, choosing to forget about the problem for now. Instead, he looked around his new room, thinking of ways he could decorate it.

'Should I though? This was Master Wu's study....' he thought to himself. He shook his head, closing his eyes, and lying down.

It wasn't even an hour later when he heard the rest of the team calling for him.

Jay was the first one to bust into his room, pulling the blonde out of bed.

"Jay, calm down! What's wrong?" Lloyd asked, blinking rapidly at the blue ninja.

"Snow - Powers," he wasn't making any sense, stuttering when he did. Lloyd grabbed the master of lightning by his shoulders, holding him still.

"What happened?"

"It's snowing! In the middle of July! Our powers, they're gone again!" The ginger pointed out the window, where snow was on Dec falling gracefully against the glass. Lloyd, with mouth agape, moved closer to see snow on the deck of the bounty, and Kai shivering as he came inside.

"Get everyone to the living room. We need to find out what this is."
