Lloyd Garmadon went to deck of the ship, staring in awe at the storm.

"And it hasn't stopped?"

"No, despite us trying to use our powers."

Lloyd looked Kai, who was anxiously rubbing his hands together, trying to warm himself up. "What do you mean, 'trying?'" Kai looked at him.

"Didn't Jay fill you in, did he?" Lloyd shook his head, and Kai sighed. "This snow is just like the lightning from a few days ago; it makes it impossible for us to use our powers."

Lloyd turned back to the deck, eyeing the ash-looking snow. "It has to be some sort of villain. Who else would try to stop our powers?"

Lloyd shrugged. "I don't know. You could be right. I doubt the weather just randomly starts stealing powers from elemental masters. That, and the fact that's it's snowing in summer."

Nya rushed up from behind them, and the two boys turned around.

"So, Zane analyzed some of that snow? It's embedded with vengestone. That's why we aren't able to use our elemental powers."

Kai arched a brow. "Even him? I thought he could still use them since he's a nindroid."

Lloyd bonked him on the back of the head. "No, he's an elemental master like us; his powers are blocked when he's surrounded by vengestone."

"Well," Kai started, "is there any way to stop the storm?"

Nya shook her head. "Not one that we know of yet, but Zane and I are working on it."

Lloyd nodded, and looked up at the falling snow. It looked the kind of sky you'd see after a volcanic explosionm, where ash would fall and cover the ground. Lloyd sighed, and went back inside, bumping into Cole on the way.

"Lloyd," he started, looking at his hands, "my powers. They're gone!"

"Mine are too, Cole. Every elemental master's powers are gone right now," Lloyd replied sternly. Cole tilted his head.

"Why? There isn't another power outage, is there?"

Lloyd sighed. "I'm afraid that's what this is, except it's worse. Look out the window, and you'll see." The blonde walked off, leaving Cole in confusion.

He pulled open one of the blinds, and let his jaw drop at the sight of the snow.

"Snow? In July?" He closed the curtain, and leaned against the wall. Weirder things had happened, but still. Weather anomalies weren't exactly common in Ninjago; especially ones that cancelled elemental abilities. How would they fight another villain if they showed up?

'Well,' he mused, 'I guess we HAVE defeated our enemies without powers before, but never without Lloyd's. He always would come in handy.'

He went back to looking out the window, seeing Kai and Nya shoveling snow off of the deck.

With the team out of commission... Who would defend Ninjago? There was a ghost of a chance of them finding someone...

Ghost...

Phantom.

Phantom Ninja.

Seliel!

Cole pulled his phone from him pocket, dialing the number. He waited for a minute, when he heard her pick up.

"Hey, it's Seliel. Who is this?"

"Seliel!" he started, glad to hear her voice again. "It's me, Cole. Remember?"

"Cole! Hey, how's it going?"

"Not great. Look, I'm sure you've seen this crazy snowfall."

"Yeah, my dad's freaking out about it. Why, what's up?"

"Well, it's cancelling out our powers. Not just the team's, but other elemental master's as well, I think."

"But, without your powers, how are you guys going to fight your next enemy?"

"That's why I called; you're the only person I could think of that can fight without powers. Of course, Nya can as well, with her previously being Samurai X, but - "

"But you'd rather have more than one person to help out?"

"Exactly. What do you say?"

"... I'll be at the bounty before four."

As she hung up, Cole smiled in relief. Seliel was a tough fighter, like Nya and Skylar. Having her help out would be a great asset to the team.

Or, at least he hoped so.

Man, he really should have consulted with Lloyd about this first.

He shook his head, and started heading for the outside, still in shock about how much snow was falling.

"Hey!" Kai shouted. "Grab a shovel, nd start helping us. We're putting the snow into those buckets over there."

Cole nodded, and grabbed his shovel, ready to help out, but there was still one question in his head.

'How will we stop this?'

However, in another part of Ninjago..........

He heard a groan, and opened his eyes. This certainly wasn't the Departed Realm...

"Hello, master of wind."

"What? I'm alive?"
