Chapter 8

Link and I are still together going strong as ever. He’s been with me every day since mum died; he cares about me a lot more.

“I’m heading over to the dance studio.” I said to dad

"Okay, have fun."

So I made my way to the dance studio, when I was heading over Link was driving up our drive way.

"Hey beautiful." he said when he got out of his car

"Hey, how are you?" I said

Then I gave him a hug and a kiss

"I'm great, how about you?"

"I feel amazing."

"You look amazing."

"Thanks, I've lost 5kgs, how was basketball camp?"

"Wow good on you babe, yeah it was great."

"I'm gonna go and dance, want to come with me?"

"No, no, I'm gonna talk to your dad about something."

"Oh okay, see you soon then."

I gave Link one more hug and kiss and headed to the dance studio, for starters I had to warm up for about 5 minutes, then I needed my high heels and I forgot to get them so I rang Sarah on her phone.

"Hey, can you do me a favour?"

"Yeah"

"Can you, please go into my room and get my high heels please."

"Sure, are you in the dance studio?"

"Yeap thank you."

"No worries, did you know Link is here."

"Yeah, I did."

"Okay, see you soon."

About a few minutes later Sarah came into the dance studio.

"Why do you need them for?"

"For a song"

"Oh okay, here you go, see you soon."

"Ta, and oh just let dad know I'm gonna surprise Link, but make sure Link doesn't hear you, and tell dad that the whole house will hear the music too and ring me and let me know what he says."

"Sure."

Sarah left so I decided to practice the song I wanted to do in front of everyone, then the phone rang

"Hello."

"Dad said you are allowed too."

"Sweet, just get Link to stand at the bottom of the stairs to the dance studio, and let me know when everyone is there, make sure you leave room for me to pass if you know what I mean."

"Yeah will do"

I hanged up and started the music moments later Sarah was calling at the bottom of the stairs.

"We are here." said Sarah

It was my time to shine, I love this song 'The Way You Make Me Feel (this is it version)', it starts off slow and then goes fast, when it started to go fast I opened up the door and I could see Link, dad, Drake and Sarah at the bottom of the stairs, and there was enough room to walk pass them, so I walked down the stairs and flirted with Link then walked passed him.

"Go and follow her" said dad

As I made my way to the house, I had a big smile on my face, and then I knew Link was beside me.
