Diary of Chloe Isobel Watson

Chapter 1

3:30pm

Oh my goodness, mum and dad finally gave me my own diary for looking after my little sister over the weekend, can't wait to go back to school tomorrow, since it's the first day back and I'm a senior this year which is so cool and I don't need to wear uniform either.

"Chloe, you ready yet?" Mum said at the bottom of the stairs

"Yeah" I said back to Mum

As I said this, I opened up my bed room door, I was wearing a purple strapless dress, my hair all curly, black heels and my 'I' necklace that Mum and Dad gave me when I was little, it means a lot to me.

"You look beautiful, love" said Dad as he walked out the door to the car.

"Thanks Dad"

We were heading out to a party one for adults and one for children/ teenagers, when we arrived I was separated from my parents and little sister.

"Have fun, Chloe if you need us text me and I'll come and get you."

I just nodded, smiled and went through the door, a couple of people were looking at me and smiling then I saw my best friend forever or BFF as we would say.

"You look amazing Chloe."

"Thanks, so do you Miley."

Miley and I have been best of friends since kindergarten and our mum's are best of friends too.

"Are you gonna sing tonight?" said Miley as we walked through the crowd to a seat

"Yeah, maybe, I might have got one good song in mind." I said as we sat down

"Well go up then" Miley said with a smile on her face

"And you never know Link might be here as well to hear you sing."

I've had a crush on him since year seven and I haven't asked him out yet

"Okay, I will should I play safe or go different."

"Go different, that good one called Buses and Trains."

"You think so, isn't it a little bit safe?"

"Hmm good point, what about a Michael Jackson song"

"Yeah, haven't done one of his songs in ages”

“Well there you go then”

So I walked up the stage towards the DJ

“Can I have your attention please, we have a lovely young lady wanting to sing for guys” People started clapping

“What’s your name?”

“Chloe” I said smiling

“Well Chloe take it away.”

 I grabbed the mic from the DJ and walked to the mic stand

 “Hey guys most of you know me, but if not I’m Chloe and go to East High School and a senior this year, the song I’m gonna sing to you tonight is a Michael Jackson song and I hope you guys like it.”

 Everyone was clapping the music started.

“Another day has gone,

  I’m still all alone,

  How could this be?

  You’re not here with me,

  You never said goodbye,

  Someone tell me why,

  Did you have to go?

And leave my world so cold
