By lunchtime, everyone in the whole school knew that, Link and I were getting married, I was kinda surprised to how everyone reacted, and people were giving us hugs, smiles, handshakes and saying congratulations to us even some of the teachers were saying it as well.
“So you are engaged Watson?” said Adam as Link and I were having lunch
“Um, yes” I said
“When’s the big day?”
“Not sure” I said
“Oh okay, see ya”
And he moved away from us
“You know, what” I said to Link
“What’s that?” said Link
“I just want to dance and sing right now.”
“Why don’t you then?”
“And let the whole school see me dance, no way”
“Why not”
“Because I’ve never danced in front of a whole, heap of people before”
“Just make it like, that you are only dancing in front of me”
“Are you sure”
“Of course, trust me”
So I decided to dance to some music, then I could see people watching me, so I decided to change it the music to Christina Aguilera ‘Express’, then a few people started to join in with me, making it like they knew the dance already. People were clapping and looked like they were really enjoying me dancing in front of them, once I was finished people wanted me to dance more, but I didn’t know what song to dance to, then Link came up to me.
“Do the way you make me feel”
“But that’s our song though”
“So, no one will know that”
So I decided to play ‘The way you make me feel’ and danced the way I would do with Link, then a few boys decided to join in with him, it seems that the whole school was enjoying to what we were doing. After that a new song started and it was like the whole school knew it and sang along with me and Link.
Adam: What time is it
Everyone: Summertime. It’s our vacation.
Adam: What time is it
Everyone: Party time! That’s right…. Say it loud!
Adam: What time is it?
Everyone: Time of our lives, anticipation
Adam: What time is it
Everyone: Summertime, schools out … scream and shout!
Link: Finally summers here
