It's the end of the school day and both my parents are out of town for work, and Bent's lab is running late. So I'm currently walking home. Which isn't close, it will probably be at least at 20 minute walk. I really need to get a car. At least it's good weather today.

I didn't see Brody again, but that could also be due to the fact I was low key avoiding him. It's not that I don't want to talk to him... but I don't want drama. And bad boys are always drama. I think it's so interesting how he is Deaf and I didn't even know when I just saw him around school. Normally, he would have an interpreter with him. But he never seems to... maybe they are just in his classes. He could be hard of hearing and not totally Deaf, but he would still probably need an interpreter. I don't understand that boy.

Maybe that's why I should talk to him.

Nope, I don't want the drama. And with Sarah already threatening me, I don't need to be seen with him any more. Not that I'm actually scared of her, but I just don't want to deal with it.

I feel like I hav even walking for 2 hours and I'm no where near my house. Great.

Also I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I'm pretty dramatic. Oops.

I'm about half way home, in a random neighborhood. I knew I should have asked Em or Skyla for a ride. A few houses down I see a police officer walking out of a house and into a cop car. Oooh. Then a little girl, maybe 4 or 5 runs out after him.

"Daddy please don't leave! Bubba sucks at cooking and I don't want pizza again!" I can hear her scream from here. Who doesn't like pizza? Especially a kid? They must really eat it a lot. I guess the cop lives here. Man, not as interesting as someone having the police at their door.

The cop says something back to her, but since he is just talking I can't hear him. She starts a full blow tantrum, I mean throwing herself on the ground tantrum. Wow, she must really hate pizza.

The cop looks defeated and picks her up and carries her inside. She is bawling at this point. Shoot, I'll make her dinner! Haha that would be weird.

The cop rushes back outside, at this point I'm a house away. He is in the driver seat with the car started when she bursts out of the door. She ends of flying into me, since I was in front of the walk away. She hits the back of my legs and my knees buckle. We both go down, I manage to not crush her, but just barley.

She stops crying and just looks at me. The cop rolls his window down. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay? I'm running really late for work, but my son is inside if you need ice or anything. Is it okay if I jet off when she isn't crying?!"

This man just trusts me with his daughter, I could be a kidnapper. I mean I'm not but still. "Um yeah I'm fine."

"Okay great. Again so sorry. Just knock on the door and my son will take her. And I have cameras all around the property so don't try to kidnap her." And with that he speeds down the road.

Alrighty then.

"You're like really pretty" The little girl says to me.

"Why thank you! But I think you are way prettier!" I beam as I stand up and help her up. She grabs my hand.

"I like you." She is smiling ear to ear. She is seriously cute when she isn't freaking out.

"I like you too. My name is Amzie. What's yours?" I say as we walk up to the house with her little hand clutching on to my hand for dear life.
