*Jasmine's POV*

Just great! Day one of detention, why did he have to push my buttons? I didn't do anything wrong and he just had to be insulting. Now I'm the one getting punished.

I walked up to his classroom door and knocked on it. I fixed my sweater and put my hood on my head.

'Why is it so cold down here?'

I opened the door since he didn't answer and walked right in, closing the door behind me.

He was sitting at his desk, grading papers. I walked up to him, and crossed my arms.

"Professor."

"Hm?"

"Uhhhhh....I'm here."

He looked up at me with a stern look then went back to grading,"I'm aware of that Ms. Garson. Go and start washing the cauldrons."

I huffed and went to do what he told me.  I pulled out my wand from my messy bun but then he stopped me before I could even use it.

"The muggle way, Ms. Garson."

"But it'll be faster-"

"That wouldn't be much of a punishment, now would it?"

I rolled my eyes and put my wand back into my bun. I went to the back of the room, took the bucket, and filled it with soap and water.

I started on the first cauldron and scrubbed it. I wiped off residue of the earlier classes experiment and made sure to get every spot.

'I don't need him complaining.'

*3 days later*

Day 4 of this dumb detention and I officially hate Snape! I mean that silly little crush is totally gone! He's rude, mean, and just plain miserable.

'What did I ever see in him?'

The first day I did the cauldrons, the next day I swept and mopped the WHOLE room(much harder than you think), and yesterday I had to clean out this horrible closet.

'This is so irritating!'

I just walked through the halls towards the "Dungeon Bat's" classroom, irritated that I was missing my leisure time.

I reached the room and walked in. I dropped my bag on the floor and went to his desk for further instructions.

"Professor?"

"Sort my potions. They're all laid out on that table. You may use your wand, I don't need you dropping any of my bottles."

"Whatever," I mumbled.

I slowly made my way to the table and whipped my wand out.

I started to organized the potions in alphabetical order.

"Wingardium Leviosa," I whispered. One by one, I placed the right bottles on the shelf with the help of my wand.

After about 1 hour, I had 10 bottles left to place on the shelf. I reach for five bottles and lined them up next to each other in perfect order.

'5 more and I'm out of here! For good!'

I grabbed 4 bottles, forgetting there was 5 left and I crouched down to place them in the right order. As I was doing this, I bumped into the table behind me. I heard the sound a bottle wobbling and before I knew it, it fell directly on my hand.

The bottle shattered, making a gash in my hand. The liquid in the bottle seeped through the wound, making it even more excruciating!

I felt the burning feeling creeping up my arm and my arm is throbbing now. I'm in so much pain, I don't realize I'm screaming from the top of my lungs.

The pain became unbearable, I don't know how much I can take! Everything gotten dizzy and foggy. All I can see is a figure in all black reach me and picked me up.....then everything went dark.

A/N- I'm sorry for the short chapter, I'll do better next time. I missed you guys😘❤💋
