Jasmine thought back on their time together. Their friendship was one that she cherished more than anything. She watched as Severus explained how to do the potion he was teaching the class.

It's been two years since that night she broke down and he promised her for his support. Since then they became really close. She told him about everything, he gave her advice, they would have their times of laughter and even had a few falling outs.....that ended up with her having detention.

Overall, he was her best friend. Sure Tonks and Adam were her besties as well, but Severus was different. He was an adult that she looked up to and admired greatly. It was only downside to this whole situation; she fell in love with him.

"Class is dismissed." he barked to everyone after a student's potion exploded and was sent to the nurse. Everyone headed out except for Jasmine as usual.

She ran up behind him and have him a sweet kiss to the cheek,"I wish you would stop frowning so much, you're too handsome for that."

He sighed and looked at her softly,"Must you always pester me?"

"Yes!"she said in a baby voice, batting her eyes.

"I hate you." he mumbled.

"And I love you," she gave him a hug which he responded with one of her own. She knew he was stressed and needed a hug every once in a while.

"Thank you Jasmine," he mumbled in her hair.

She looked up with her radiant smiled and let him go. She took the the books he was about to get and placed them back on the shelves.

"Are you one of the chaperones for the Yule Ball?" she asked after a moment of silence.

"Unfortunately."

"Perfect! I want a dance with you and no objections." she said.

"What? No."

"Yes."

"I said no, Jasmine."

"I said yes, Severus."

"Then you have detention." he said with a smug face.

"Oh? What was that you said? More kisses?" she threatened.

"Nevermind." he said quickly.

"Yea that's what I thought."

"You're not serious. A teacher and a student?" Severus said.

She walked up to him with her arms crossed and smirked,"Scared to dance, little man?"

"I'm serious, that's weird. I don't dance nor do I interact with you in public. You know this, Jasmine."

"Fine!" she huffed and went back to helping Severus clean the room.

She was quiet for about a half-hour and Severus knew she was upset. He turned to her, seeing her organizing stuff on his desk.

"Jasmine."
