*one month later*
Today was the last day of school and graduation day for Jasmine and the rest of the Seventh years. Jasmine stood in the mirror with her nice dress and heels. Her hair was pulled in a ponytail and her makeup was nicely done.
She grabbed her robes and put it over her attire. She grabbed her wand and headed down to the common room, her heels clicking with every step.
She linked up with Tonks and Adam before the group of seventh years exit the room one last time. She looked around the room sadly. As much as she was happy to graduate, her childhood was now over. There would be no more classes, no more teachers, no more detention.
'No more Severus.'
With a sigh, she turned and caught up with everyone. Walking through the halls, down the steps, and outside was the longest walk she ever had. In her mind that is. She was letting go of everything the was a part of her, beginning a new life beyond these walls.
As they stepped out of the castle, the warm breeze gushed passed, causing goosebumps and a shiver to run through her. It wasn't cold out, considering it was June, but she started to feel uneasy with this change. She felt a squeeze on her hand and looked up. She smiled at Adam and squeezed back.
They were heading for the Black Lake, the lake they sailed crossed for their arrival in their first year. It was a nostalgic moment for them all as this was their last time here.
Before they climbed into the small boats, everyone began bidding their goodbyes. This was the hardest part, for they were not going to see these people again. The people the helped them through all their struggles; their teachers.
These were the people that dedicated their lives to make sure each generation of witches and wizards went down the right road. They will forever be grateful for the school and their teachers for all that they've done.
Jasmine first hugged Pomona Sprout, the head of her house. It was a tearful moment for her, she loved this woman so much. She even considered coming back to Hogwarts because for the love of her professors.
'Or one Professor.'
She hugged or said farewell to all the other teachers, including Poppy. She finally approached Dumbledore, giving him a tight hug.
"Thank you, Headmaster. For everything you've done for me." she said tearfully.
"It was an honor to have such a bright student like yourself to attend this school. Are you sure you don't want to return for a teaching position here?" he asked with a sad smile.
"I'm very sure....umm...where's-"
"Professor Snape?" he asked with a glimmer in his eyes.
"Yes. I thought I would like to say goodbye. I guess he's busy."
