When you get the notification that "pacificaffliction_ has updated her book rants" , I know your reaction would be "I'm sorry, who?". -and that's completely fine boo- I've been so away and will be for a while too but I just feel like I owe an explanation.
My last chapter was a year ago, and after that there were several drafts, mostly entitled "I passed economy and got cheated on" or "where have I been" because, I'm guessing I don't even know where I've been *existential crisis*. (took me five minutes to figure out how to make words in bold again haha).
But since once again 2017 is coming to an end, I will resume it, mostly to explain why I was away, and hopefully by 2018 I'll find more time and earn back your support to go on with this book/blog (I sort of refer to it as my personal blog).
So here is how my 2017 went:
I went through a breakup, which really means nothing to me anymore, even though it played a massive role in how I behaved later on. I met a lot of people, and kept a very few of them close, I graduated highschool (at last) and passed my country's baccalaureate exam. I went abroad to meet my family in Brazil for the first time, came back to my corrupted country, where the love of my life was waiting for me at the airport, I turned 18, had my poems made into a book as a gift, and we're currently working on more to be published.
I enrolled into university and I'm majoring in French Literature, I moved out, and I've never been more mentally stable.
Anyways, I really hope you've all had a good year, why don't you tell me about it in the comments?
I'm hoping I'll publish a new rant in these upcoming days (what's it like to share a flat).
