"Thanks, are you new here too?" He asked with a glimpse of hope in his eyes of not been the only new kid.

I chuckled" Most of us have been here most our lifetimes" I paused" Transfer student huh? Where from?"

"Texas." I said nodding pretending I didn't got the accent from the first word he said.

"So I'm guessing you aren't used to such a big city"

"I wanna tell you that you are been stereotypical of Texans but you're right it's been a little hard trying to adapt to such a noisy and busy city"

"Am I gonna have to ask?" I said shyly.

"You don't look like an average 7th grader" I said taking a glimpse at him" How much older are you? And... why?"

"It's a long story" he said sighing closing himself at me.

"I got time" I said looking around us" besides school's over remember?" I said pointing to the teens racing out the door.

"My dad's picking me up he could take us to a café or something" I said thinking about a cool hang out" Actually there is this Russian café I'd like you to meet. It's called Svorki's"

"For defending your friend?"

"Why did you wait a semester to get back in?" I said forgetting to be polite.

"I was ashamed and embarrassed, I didn't want to face any school again"

"Well Lucas I'm not sure what it is that brought you here, but I'm happy it did"I said with a huge grin.

"Me too" he said returning the grin.

"This is the start of a long friendship, Lucas"I said with a grin

"Why would you do that? She is a bimbo Lucas! She goes to our district's public school" I said remembering how Farkle usually drools for her and her other bimbo bff.

"She followed me on ig and we just started talking there, we've been talking for about two months already we just wanted to meet each other" he said rising his shoulder innocently.
