Very very important A/N at the end of the chapter please please read.
I breathe in. And lock the door behind me, it's been such a stressful day, I can't wait for it to be over. I love been a lawyer and following my mom's footsteps but sometime work is sooo stressful.
I leave my keys in the table and open the fridge to get a yogurt. I go to my couch with my yogurt in one hand and the Apple TV control on the other.
I sit down devouring my yogurt as I firmly decide to rewatch all Riverdale since season 1 in order for the wait for the other half of season 2, be a little more bearable.(Yep this is me right now, I know since I'm doing this futuristic, there's be no way season 2 was happening in five years but I wanted to write it like this, so just go with it)
I'm screaming at Archie for been such an idiot for kissing Veronica in 7 minutes in heaven, when my phone rings.
I don't love getting calls at night since the incident 5 years ago, it's not like I'm traumatized or anything but it still reminds me of the night I almost ended my life.
"Meet me in the rooftop. Now." He criptically says.
I let a grin make its way into my face, this isn't an unpleasant call as much as it sounds creepy ." Any other hints mister mysterious?"
"I wanna show you something" he lets a mischievous chuckle" You'll see"
"I'm going" I say and hang up.
Riverdale will have to wait.
I left my spoon and what used to be my yogurt on the table and grab my jacket, March already and New York still a bit chilly.
I took the elevator to the rooftop to find nothing in front of me. Well that's odd.
I turned to my right to find the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I gasped. And was pretty speechless may I add.
"Hey princess" He said climbing off the fire scape stairs.
"Farkle you did this?" I said a little shocked still" It's beautiful"
"And brought you these" He said uncovering the rose bouquet behind his back.
I grabbed the bouquet to look more closely to my favorite flowers.
"Why don't you open the envelope?" He asked pointing a small white envelope in the middle of the bouquet.
I opened the envelope to find a short note with just a phrase on it.
"Will you marry me?" The font read.
"Farkle... What..?" I stuttered looking back at him to find him kneeled on one knee and holding a Tiffany's box open.
"I've fallen with you a little more every day. Every day I realize how lucky I am I found you, and I thank all the gods in the universe for letting me do the right decisions. I'm grateful I met you in high school when you used to call me a freak" he stops and chuckles" I'm grateful I decided to go to Zay's party and that you were dared to 7 minutes in heaven with me, I'm grateful for Smackle's twisted plan of destroying you, but I'm even more grateful it brought me to getting to know the real you and falling in love with her, though I'm sorry for not telling you soon enough, I'm sorry I put you through that kind of pain, I'm sorry you almost committed suicide, but I'm grateful you were strong enough and you chose to keep fighting, to stay, I'm grateful you gave me another chance to fix all my mistakes, I'm grateful that even after five years we're still together but mostly I'm grateful for fate and destiny because of them I got you"
