The infirmary

Hey pretties, I'm better so I wrote this today, it felt good.

One thing I knew for sure, is that I am gay. The second thing is that I'm in love with Will Solace. The third is that Percy and Jason have gone insane this time.

I was talking, begrudgingly, in my cabin with Piper. I wanted to tell her I was gay because I knew that out of everyone, she would most likely understand where I was coming from. She has a love that is frowned upon by some as well, she has a roman boyfriend. So she would most likely to understand.

"Okay, so you're gay, what's the problem with that?" She said leaning back on my bunk's headboard.

"Just, I wanted somebody to know that I know will support me." I said fiddling with my fingers

"Well, I support you no matter what, anyway got your mind on any guys?" She said, excitement filling her eyes

"Uhm,well-I kinda like, um-Solace" I say hiding my now crimson face.

"EEEEEEEEEEE!" we heard coming from the window

"Who's there?!" Piper asked getting up to investigate.

Suddenly Jason and Percy popped there heads up to see us through the opened window. They both grinning like fools, squealing and they were slightly jumpy

"What?" I asked

"Oh, the solangelo ship will sail soon" Jason said

"What do you mean?" I said getting nervous

"We know how to get Solace to like you!Come on" Percy said waving for me to come outside into the woods.

I shrugged, said by to Piper and left my cabin to follow the idiots. They were leaping down the moonlit path down to Zeus' fist, and then they grabbed two big rocks.

"Why am I here?" I asked getting closer to them

"Well, Will works in the infirmary, if you get hurt, he'll have no choice but to spend time with you!" Percy said with a crazed look in his eyes

"Fine, just like, sprain my ankle or something" I said hopefully

"Alright, 1........" Percy started winding up his arm

"2......"Jason said holding the rock

"3!" I yelled, scrunching my face in preparation

Crack!

"AHHHHHhhhhh, Oh my gods, ow ow ow ow ow wwwwwwww!" I yelled grabbing my ankle, which was now broken.

"Well?" Jason said, looking for further directions

"Thanks guys, I,- well i'm gonna go back to my cabin and fake an injury tomorrow, Percy make sure Will's at the arena, Jace, you'll be my sparring partner" I said, shifting my weight to my other foot.

"K, good night" Percy said waving

I limped back to my cabin, trying not to trip over rocks or roots. I finally trudged up my cabin stairs and opened the door to see a familiar blonde standing by my bed acting panicked.

"Will, what are you doing here?" I asked

"I-I, heard a faint scream, and I wanted to check if you were ok" He said playing with his hands. I couldn't see his face, but I could tell he was concerned.

"Well, I uhm, I was walking in the woods and I tripped and hurt my ankle, I'm fine" I say trying to limp to my bunk.

"No, it's not fine! You could've badly injured yourself and you come here?! Not directly to the Infirmary? Holy Zeus, you could be hurt bad! Let's go" He rambled.

He walked over to me and grabbed my hand, and pulled me out of the cabin towards the infirmary, having to stop every once in a while for me to rest from limping. When we got to the infirmary some of Will's siblings were tending to a few straggling campers who got hurt in the evenings game of capture the flag.

"Sit down on the bed" Will said pointing to a cot in the corner 

I limped over and sat down, relieved that I could take all pressure off of my ankle.

"So, how did this happen?" Will asked starting to look at my purple ankle

"Uh, well,um- I, J-jason and Percy we-were-" 

"Let me guess, jason and percy crushed your ankle so you had to come here and see me?" He smirked while not taking his eyes off my ankle

I just sat there in silence, blushing like an idiot. I watched as Will rubbed an anti bacterial lotion on the possibly infected area, then he wrapped my ankle in a tenser bandage, finally he walked into another room to get something.

"Jeez, why self why! Stop being so weird in front of him! You just have a silly crush, it's not that bad!It's not like he's ever gonna like you so get over it." I talked to myself, making sure no one heard me.

Will came back in with a square of ambrosia, blushing like mad.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked, trying to be confident in conversation

"Eat this" He said not looking me in the eyes

I chewed my square as I watched Will pace around the infirmary, basically just finding anyway to avoid me.

"Will" I say sternly

"Y-yes?" He says turning around, eyes on his apparently very interesting converse.

"Why are you avoiding me? What did I do?" I say, letting the hurt in my voice show

"Well, y-you- YOU CAN'T JUST SAY YOU LIKE SOMEONE OUT LOUD WHEn, they're in the other room" He said calming down from snapping.

"Oh, y-you h-heard me d-did you?" I say now looking at my shoes

"Yeah, and there's one problem with what you said" 

"Oh, and what's-HMMP" 

Will cut me off by pressing his lips to mine. It was short and sweet, and when Will pulled away my eyes were glued shut and I was crimson.

"The problem is I like you idiot" He said with smiling, a hand on my neck.

"Well good, will you happen to be in the market for a boyfriend?" I asked cheekily

"Mmm, maybe but I'll have to see your resume" Will joked

It was 8 years later, we  were both 22, and we were at dinner.

"How was yours?" Will asked me

"Not bad, but it was missing something"

"Like a dessert or-"

I got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box from my aviator jacket. The ring had a black and yellow topaz fused together instead of a diamond.

"William Solace, 8 years ago today I asked you if you were in the market for a boyfriend" I said tearing up

"Oh my gods" Will said equally teary

"So today, would you happen to be in the market for a husband?" I said with a grin on my face

"I'll need your resume" Will said cracking up

"And that bee, is how I managed to get your father to like me" I said, my six year old girl on my lap

"Well, I'm gwad you did" She said with a toothy smile

"Me too sweetie" I said kissing her head

"Me too" Will said kissing my head from behind me
