Will POV

Today, has been the best and worst day ever.

Today is the 2 year anniversary of when Me and Nico started dating, the bad part is Percy knows and is still sullen. He didn't even like him of my knowledge, but my death boy is apparently sacred territory or something? Like Percy doesn't like me.

~flashback~

I watched Nico walk up to Percy, fiddling with his hands like he does when he's nervous. I walked over closer, inconspicuously so they wouldn't notice I was listening.

"Hey Percy, uhm, canIaskyousomething" Nico said flustered. My face contorted into a kind of sad and disgusted expression

"Hm? Yeah sure Nico" He said nonchalantly

"Uhm, well-do, you uhm wanna go on a d-d" He stuttered

"A date? well, I uh, not really, sorry" Percy said rather rudely

"Oh, uhm, ok" Nico said turning away, tears welling up in his eyes. He ran into the woods, and I followed.

Badda bing, Badda boom, we got together. But the past few days Percy has been acting weird, like he's jealous that I have Nico's attention. I don't think he's gay, I think he just doesn't like not being the center of attention.

Tonight to start the camp activities for the summer, everyone's gathering for a campfire/talent show and I thought I'd sing something. I'm not usually the jealous or protective type, but I need to tell Percy to back off passive aggressively. 

"Hey love" Nico said walking up behind me and draping himself on my shoulder.

"Hi deathboy" I said and continued to work at my desk

He kissed my cheek, "Whatcha workin on?" he asked.

"Nothing" I replied hiding the logo for the show at the top of the paper.

"Well, if it's nothing can we lay down and cuddle?" He asked

Nico had become very affectionate about three months after we started dating, so he was a little bit happier most of the time. I pretended to think on my answer and then nodded. He pulled me up by my hands and pulled me onto my bunk.

"We have a few acts for tonight" Chiron stated to the camp

"First up, Will Solace singing Sk8ter boi-" He said squinting at the misspelled words

"By Avril Lavigne" He finished and trotted off the stage.

I got onto the stage, a mic nervously squeezed in my hands, to see Nico with a dumbfounded expression in the audience. That gave me some more confidence somehow, then the music started.

He was a punk( I glance at Nico)
He did ballet(I glance at Percy)
What more can I say

He wanted him

Secretly he wanted him as well

Stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his baggy clothes

He had a pretty face
But his head was up in space
He needed to come back down to earth

Everyone had no idea who I was singing about, so they let it go

Five years from now

He sits at home
Feeding the baby He's all alone

He turns on TV
Guess who he sees
Skater boy rockin' up MTV

He calls up his friends
They already know
And they've all got tickets to see his show

He tags along
Stands in the crowd
Looks up at the man that he turned down

He was a skater boy
He said see you later boy
He wasn't good enough for him

Now he's a super star
Slamming on his guitar

I was starting to move with  my song so I pointed at Percy or Nico whenever the song called for it

As the song ended everyone cheered and clapped. I got off the stage as I hear Chiron start to say

"That was interesting" before he faded behind the curtain.

Nico tackled me in a bear hug

"Figured it out huh?" I asked sarcastically

"Uhm, yes! I love you Will! That was so good, and on our anniversary! That referred to this day two years ago right?" He babled

"Of course! Happy anniversary, I love you"

We went back to his cabin and had some fun

The next day, Percy didn't bother us, so I think he got the memo Nico didn't care anymore.

And all was happy in my universe.
