He's not my friend

Will and Nico had been dating for two years, but when Will was about to turn 18 he went into the mortal world to be a med student so that Nico and himself could live together stably in the mortal world and so he could follow his passion, while Nico stayed at camp until his 18th in a year so no monsters would get his scent before it died down

Will has been in the mortal world for 2 months without seeing Nico in person, but they've stayed connected through iris-message. But today was Will's birthday so Nico convinced Chiron and Mr.D to let him go and visit Will for a little while, which Nico was so looking forward to so much.

Nico took some drachma and dropped it onto the road, a few seconds later an under-world-y taxi showed up with three eye-less drivers. about half way through the ride the drivers turned to Nico and said- 

"The person who really loves you sees what a mess you can be, how moody you can get, how hard you are to handle, but still wants you in their life."

-before they turned back around.

When their eyes, er, when they turned back to the road, Nico thought about why they would say that to him, but then remembered where he was going. He thought of Will being the reason they shared that with him and he gave a small, heart warming smile to nothing as blush speckled onto his cheeks.

When he got out of the cab he stood outside of Will's school-Stony Brook University

He walked through the big oak doors and across the marble flooring to the center of the main building which had a massive sky-light. As students hustled and bustled around Nico who stood in the center of the building he couldn't find Will in the crowd.

A good two minutes passed before Nico became desperate to see his boyfriend that he stopped a big jock that had his frat house jacket on and a basketball and decaying textbooks under his arm.

"Excuse me, but do you by chance know where I would be able to find Will Solace?" Nico said politely with a hurried tone

The jock sized Nico up and snorted "Will Solace? The big man on campus? Leader of my frat? well sorry pal but by lookin atchya I can tell Will's not your friend -" The guy spat he was about to come at Nico again but a voice spoke up before the guy could open his yap

"Nico?" 

Nico would recognize that melodious voice anywhere, it was his boyfriend of two years. Nico whipped around and saw Will with a green overshirt on top of a white button-down with blue jeans, red sneakers, and his camp necklace with a frat jacket over his shoulder.

Nico ran down to the other end of the room towards Will who had his arms out to greet him. Nico embraced Will with so much affection before he looked up into his sky blue orbs before pecking his lips. The traffic in the hallway subsided very suddenly as many looks we're thrown at Nico and Will.

The Nico turned around still holding onto Will's waist and said to the guy who was underestimating Nico's friend group and said-

" You're right actually, he's not my friend-" He turned back to Will who had a mixture of confusion and hurt mixed in his eyes.

Nico stared into Will's eyes and said lovingly and still loud enough for everyone to hear "He's my boyfriend."

and leaving the guy dumbstruck they intertwined hands, pecked each other on the lips, and walked out of the building.

I know what your thinking, and yes Will skipped the rest of the day to spent it with Nico
