Close your eyes for a touch,
Brushing fingers to a dream,
Lullabies sung softly while you sleep.
Peaceful swayings in the trees,
Rocking softly through the leaves.
If I wished that this dream,
Dear dream could come true.
I'd wish, I'd wish,
I'd wish for you.
A serenade in the moonlight,
A whisper in the twilight,
Dusky tones at midnight,
Soft voices in the half-light.
Listen to this song,
A song in the night
To sing you to sleep,
So just close your eyes.
And the cradle, it rocks,
And the birds sing their song,
And the light streams in,
The day begins.
