I hear seconds ticking away on the mantle,
They're whispering to me as they disappear...
There's no way to make up for lost time,
It slips through our fingers like the wind;
We feel it, and then it's gone.I can't live in the moment,
But only taste the moment,
And live with the memory...Precious memories,
The bittersweet truth
Is that I know eventually
I'll forget you.Did it really happen?
Or did I just imagine it, vaguely.
Was it a dream, that memory?
Or was it a reality?It's like a song,
I remember the melody,
But I can't recall the words.But you come, you smile,
And it all comes back.
A ray of light shining from the past,
Of a look, a word, a touch...
Remember it for me.
