(Hey guys, some of you may of noticed and some may not of but in the last few chapters, I totally fucked up their time with night and day but it should be back to normal now.)

Home. Its where I want to be. Wrapped up in blankets on Dimitri's bed with a large pizza next to me. Not in this stupid hospital with people waking me up in the middle of the night to check my blood pressure and a baby bleeding out of my vagina.
The doctor said once it stopped I could go home and come in for regular checkups. The doctor also said a whole lot of shit about my eggs and Dimitri's sperm from being a Strigoi blah blah blah, that was the reason for the pregnancy. Yet, I don't even think he believed me when I said I had only ever slept with the one dhampir person.
I haven't seen that one dhampir person much. After the doctor finished he made Dimitri leave with him and the past day has gone by without him being able to come in with looking after christian.
I turn off my light after the nurse comes in to check up on me and give me medication, sinking further into the bed ready to sleep. Due to one of the pills I was taking, I always felt tired and by nine at night I was hammered.
My eyes have only been closed for a little while when my door opens so quietly that I wouldn't have heard it if I were human. I know it isn't the nurse who is really loud and already sense Dimitri.
My eyes flutter open and I open my mouth to say something but he puts his finger up to his lips to silence me. He comes over and sits on the chair next to my bed, holding my hand in his. Both sets of knuckles are still red and bruised but it has always been a pain i am used too.
"You, are a rule breaker Guardian Belicov." I tease playfully, trying to lighten the mood. We hadn't had a chance to talk about what happened and to be honest I don't know whether he thinks i cheated even after the doctors hypothesis. I really didn't know. "First it was fucking a student and now this?"
Dimitri leans closer to me "You make me break the Rules Rose." He leans back dramatically and stretches. "Besides if you don't want me here I can always go."
I feel the need to kick him again. "Shut up."
He laughs quietly and squeezes my hand gently. "I've missed you. Actually everyone has missed you. God, even Christian said something about its weird for you not to be around."
I missed my friends too. Lissa had come in quickly today but couldn't stay long. All she did was cry over me and offer continuously to heal me. "I've missed you too. Life isn't the same without seeing you at least four times a day reading those stupid westerns."
"Excuse me Rosemarie, but my western novels aren't stupid." He shakes his head at me, "You just don't appreciate good quality antiques."
I cock my head to the side. "I appreciate you don't I?" I try to keep my face straight but I end up cracking and begin to laugh, Dimitri just rolls his eyes trying to keep the smile off his face.
We talk for a while most of the topics light and away from the only one we need to talk about. I still talking when my eyelids begin drooping and I yawn.
Dimitri notices and kisses our joint hands. "I'll go now and let you get some rest." He tries to move his hand from mine but I don't let him. Instead I pull him forward and shuffle over as far to the right of the single bed as I can without falling off.
I pat the space left. "Stay."
He doesn't need to be told twice as he kicks off his shoes and lies carefully down next to me. We lie facing each other and as I stare into his eyes I know we have become serious. Dimitri reaches up and cups my cheek, stroking my cheekbone with his thumb.
I rest my injured hand against his chest and trace small circles against his white guardian shirt. "I didn't cheat on you." My voice is barely audible but Dimitri hears me.
His face softens into a smile and he leans over to press a kiss to the side of my mouth. "I know Roza."
For some unknown reason a tear slipped down my cheek. He is quick to brush it away. "I was scared you wouldn't believe me."
"Of course I do, you're not a bad person Rose." He reassures. I smile at him and wiggle closer against him before kissing him. Its a soft kiss, Dimitri afraid to hurt me, but I enjoy it nonetheless. He is a very good kisser.
We pull away after a long time and I have to force my eyes to reopen again. Dimitri runs his hands through my hair and kisses my lips once again. "Its okay Roza, go to sleep."
And I do. I drift off easily with his warm hands continuously stroking my hair and his steady breathing acting as a lullaby.
A/N Hey guys, so I know the pregnancy wasn't really talked about in this chapter but the two of them will address it in later chapters when their ready. Chapter eight coming soon...
