Without you I'm a fragment
My sentences are incomplete
But with you I'm a complete thought
With exclamation pointsYou're the hump to my P
The curve to my S
The cross to my T
And the zig zag to my ZPlease don't ever insert a period
In any of my thoughts
Because periods denote an ending
And I never want thatI want to be a run-on, a comma splice
A free-flowing paragraph
Full of conjunctions and adverbs
That's guaranteed to bind us together for lifeWriting, come back to me and turn
Single letters into words
My words into phrases
My phrases into sentences
My run-on sentences into paragraphs
And my paragraphs into a literary workI want to be a plural noun
With a present tense state of being verb
Or perhaps, even a few action verbs...
So words, please come back to me
