The only thing constant in the world is change
Some choose to live in denial
Nothing ever stays the same
It's written in the Bible
The seconds on a clock are subject to change
Inexplicably and out of the blue
Everything in your life can rearrange
Without forewarning you
The moon can shine during the day
Or overshadow the sun
Possessions that you have today
Tomorrow can be gone
The people dearest to your heart
Could vanish in a flash
Today you could be living large
But tomorrow be strapped for cash
In a world of constant change
Just go along with the flow
For we must learn to surf the waves
And thrive to stay afloat
