This is just too good to be true
That I have found someone like you
I've waited for a long, long time
A good man is so hard to find
Boy, you are just so good to me
I can't even begin to explain
You bring contentment in my life
And ease the excruciating pain
It looks to me like you're the one
Look at the work that God has done
I know that we are meant to be
Affection was never friends with me
Until the day you came my way
I thank the good Lord everyday
I used to see my friends with men
Who treated them like perfect tens
I envied that until the day
You came into my life to stay
With you I'm always satisfied
Sometimes I often want to cry
I've waited long with mister wrong
You even got me writing songs
A Love I've never known before
Now I don't have to cry no more
