Farrah means joy.
Abadi means powerful.
Farah Abadi used to be those things.
But ISIS ruined that.
On the 10th of June 2014
They fought through Mosul defences
Shooting everything and everyone.
Farah Abadi was at school,
Learning to sew for her future job.
They ran in,
Locking doors and windows
Making sure no one can escape.
Their teacher Mrs Halabi told them
To hide behind her back to protect her students.
The ISIS fighters started yelling things in Arabic,
One of them grabbed Mrs Halabi by the arm
And dragged her away.
The teenagers variant in age
Were left unprotected.
