They were led into the building
There were rows and rows of machines,
Sewing machines.
Farah saw women and children
They were all doing the same thing
Sewing what looked like army gear.
They were forced to sit at a bench,
Cold, hard and unwelcoming
They were told to make pants.
Farah stared at the fabric
Asking the lady that was showing them how to sew
How long she's been there for ,
2 long years .
2 long years
Of sitting on the same bench.
Working hours on end.
Farah stared at the lady
Her name was Adela Morcos
Only 35
Too young to be stuck in that place.
They started the long tiring work,
9 hours
How how long ago they began
No water or food.
They were exhausted,
At 19 they were told to stop.
Farah sighed in relief,
Stretching her tried muscles p.
They were led out if the building
Welcomed with a beautiful night sky.
