It was finally time for Evangeline to leave to hogwarts.

She made sure to take everything she owned with her, because she wasn't planning on staying in the macmillan household anymore.

When Trinade and her children were at the world cup, Evangeline stayed at her late father's home, writing to her younger cousin Ernie if she could stay at their home until she becomes of age.

Ernie's reply was that he spoke with his parents and she was more than welcome to stay.

Sighing happily, Evangeline finished packing her trunk, not informing her stepmother or her children that she was leaving the household forever.

And Even better, Trinade wasn't Evangeline's guardian either because she didn't marry Evangeline's father yet. They were only engaged three weeks before Emanual macmillan passed away.

She quickly dressed in muggle clothes before heading to king's cross.

"Make sure you come back for Christmas" Snapped Trinade "The house won't clean itself"

Evangeline nodded her head, smirking when Trinade turned her back. Trinade didn't know that September first will be the last time Evangeline will ever stay in this house.

Evangeline made sure her father's gringott's key was safe in her trunk, because she was sure Trinade will search every nook and cranny of Evangeline's attic to find the key.

She also took all her jewelry back without camila knowing by calling the old house elf back because Evangeline helped heal his wounds from the lashing from Trinade back when Evangeline was thirteen. The house elf doubled the jewelry, so camilla doesn't make a huge fuss about the jewelry.

"Evangeline hurry up!" Snapped Trinade "We don't have all day!"

"Coming madam" Evangeline said mockingly

When they arrived to kings cross, Evangeline didn't even bother saying goodbye to Trinade, she simply ran through the barrier and boarded the train.

She ran a finger through her shoulder length blond hair and sighed, all the compartments were full. She passed by her cousin Ernie's compartment, which only contained three people, his friend justin and a chubby blond girl with pigtails.

"Hello Ernie, can i sit here?" Asked Evangeline

"Sure!" Beamed Ernie "Where's helen?"

Helen was Evangeline's best friend, she doesn't board the train, her parents apparate her to hogsmeade station.

"Her parents will apparate her to hogsmeade station" Said Evangeline

"Oh" said Ernie "So, how long will you stay at my place?" Asked Ernie

"Until I finish hogwarts or at least become of age, don't worry I won't stay long " Said Evangeline

"You can stay as long as you like!" Said Ernie "My home is now your home too Evangeline, mum and dad adore you, they'd rip that ghastly Yaxley woman to shreds if they knew how she was treating you"

"But why wouldn't you tell them?" Asked Justin finch-flechly

"Long story" yawned Evangeline.

She suddenly felt tired and closed her eyes, allowing sleep to consume her.
