"What the hell Evangeline!" Helen growled "Did you seriously hide behind the trees to escape the teachers, and take me with you?!"

"I didn't want to enter the carriage alone" Evangeline shrugged

"So, you want to enter the bloody carriage that belongs to that giant of a lady?!" Helen screeched "It will get us in big trouble! Imagine if Dumbledore found out, or worse that maxime  woman! I don't want to risk expulsion Evangeline, and neither should you"

"Come on Helen, sure we'll get some detentions and Dumbledore won't expel us since we've got a clear record" Evangeline assured her "And it's not like anyone would find out"

Helen pursed her lips in a thinking manner

"Fine, but only the carriage okay?" Helen sighed

"I was actually thinking about taking a look at the durmstrang ship too!" Evangeline squealed excitedly

"Oh come on!" Helen grunted

"Helen, if you don't want to do this you can go" Evangeline said sadly

"I'll only do this because you're my best friend" Helen grumbled "But if we get caught........."

"We won't I promise!" Evangeline said excitedly

"Alright let's get this over with" Helen grumbled

Evangeline and Helen headed towards the beauxbatons carriage, totally neglecting the fact that they were both starving.

Once they reached the carriage, helen fumbled with the bottom of the carriage and a set of golden steps appeared, the girls could see their reflection on the steps as they tried to open the door of the carriage

"It's locked" Helen said "I think we should just go back and....."

Evangeline suddenly whipped out her wand and opened the door with the alohamora charm, Evangeline and Helen could not believe their eyes when the door opened

The inside of the powder blue carriage, there were many powder blue couches surrounded by the sky blue walls decorated with the beauxbatons crest. There were several long tables filled with food such as baguettes, bread rolls, crepes, eclairs, macarons , croissants and many other baked goods, there were two golden sets of stairs in the opposite direction leading to the top floor, there were beautifully shaped bookshelves filled with books and there was a beautiful chandelier hanging on the top of the whiteish blue ceiling.

Helen quickly dismissed whatever she was about to say and darted towards the food, taking three macarons and stuffing them in her mouth all at once, pointing at the door signaling Evangeline to close it.

Evangeline closed the door and looked around the beautiful carriage, slightly jealous of the beauxbatons students for having such a lavish carriage. She decided to take a look at the top floor and took the stairs on the right, there was a door labeled "filles". She opened the door and saw a small and narrow hallway with 3 doors, the first one labeled "Sixième anné" the second one labled "Septième anné" and the last one labled "Maîtresse de tête".  She opened the first door and found a few luxurious white beds, each with a bedside table of its own and two huge vanity mirrors on both sides of the room. She opened the second door and found the same, but when she tried to open the third one, it turned out to be locked but she was able to open it with her wand. The room had a beautiful lavender scent, with floral wallpaper and a gigantic white-blue bed fit for a giant, and a beautiful vanity mirror.

But the thing Evangeline was most curious about was the picture that lay on her vanity mirror. The picture had a much younger looking Madame Maxime, standing beside a man roughly the size of hagrid, and a small boy  in the middle, holding a teddy bear. Beside that picture, lay a small letter with a stain on it, although it was in french, Evangeline was able to make out what the letter meant with the very few words she knew. Apparently, her husband and son died in a feud that happened with other giants, but she couldn't work out the meaning of the rest of the letter.

Hungry, Evangeline put the letter back and walked out the door, not forgetting to close and lock the door behind her.

"Where have you been?" Helen asked, her mouth full of opera cake

"I was just looking upstairs" Evangeline said, grabbing an eclair

"Tell me all about it" Helen said, cutting another slice of opera cake and placing it on her plate "Did you know the plates refill themselves? The Beauxbatons students are so lucky"

Evangeline told her everything she just saw and found out, not missing one single tiny detail

"Woah, so that Maxime woman had a family?" Helen said, stuffing her mouth with more opera cake

"Yeah, it's sad her husband and son had to die though, she looked so happy in her picture" Evangeline said, grabbing a bread roll and biting into it

"WHAT DO YEH KIDS THINK YER DOING?!"
