part 14 - the devil is back

Arnav and khushi were comming the stairs down to the living room. Arnav was behind khushi when both said.

"Where's my angel?" Said khushi with a smile.

"Where's my big boy?" Said arnav with a smile.

Both looked at each other and then back to Ayaan.

Both wanted to lift him up, arnav looked at khushi.

"May i ?"

Khushi removed her hands, so that arnav can lift him up.

"Hey big boy." He had Ayaan in his arms and kissed his cheek.

Chandini stood beside arnav and hugged him sidely.

"Look how cute he is arnav." She smiled at Ayaan.

Arnav just smiled and looked at khushi. She was looking at Arnav and Ayaan but when chandini hugged him she turned her head to the other side. He knew that this picture hurts her. Seeing Chandini next to Arnav and Ayaan. Where actually she should be.

"Guys excuse us."

Chandini let go of his arm and arnav started walking upstairs.

"Chotte, where are you going?"

Arnav turned around.

"Come and see it." He smiled at his confused family.

They all followed arnav till he stood infront of a door.

"Chotte this is the guest room right?"

Arnav smiled at his sister.

"Di please open the door and you'll see."

Anjali made a confused face and opened the door.

They all saw a cute baby room. At the left wall there were lots if little stars and a diaper chanding table. On the rifht side of the room there was a baby bed and next to it a 'normal' bed.

Khushi just looked at the room. It was so cute. She had tears in her eyes, arnav cared a lot for Ayaan.

"Wow nannav! I wish i would have been your son!" Said NK.

All laughed a little at his comment.

"Oh and now see what happens when it's bed time." Said arnav and switched off the lights.

'Bed time' ?, thought khushi.

The stars on the wall started lighting in green. Ayaan just looked at them and then go arnav.

"Do you like it big boy?" Said arnav with a smile.

Khushi just smiled and looked at the stars. She thought about the scene where she told arnav that she belives that everyone becomes a star when they die. Her thought were broken when she heard ayaans cry. Khushi walked to him.

"Kya hua?" Asked arnav.

Khushi took ayaan into her arms and hugged him tight.

"Nothing happened..mummy is here don't be afraid shh.."

Arnav thought for a second. Is he also afraid of the dark like khushi ? Khushi switched on the lights and looked at the family.
