Ae Dil Hai Mushkil - ARSHI

part 5 - A lot of things happening

Khushi was in the washroom as arnav was sitting on the bed and talking to aman.

„Aman, i'll not come to office for some days. I want to stay with my family so.."

„Asr, it's okey. I'll manage things here."

„Thank you aman."

Arnav cut the phone and put in on the little desk in their room. Khushi came out of the washroom. She was wearing a white salwar suit and dried her hair with a towel. Arnav turned and looked at her. Khushi also looked at him and stooped drying her hair. Arnav gave her a small smile and stooped closer to her. He held her hands and looked into her eyes.

„Tum theek ho?" asked arnav.

Khushi cupped his face and nodded.

„Aap?"

Arnav nodded too. Khushi knew he wasn't okey at all. She rushed her hand through his hair and hugged him tight. Arnav hugged her back and started crying again.

Suddenly the door got opened and they both wanted to see who entered their room. They both were smiling when they saw who stood there.

It was muskaan and ayaan who held his little brother arun in his arms. Arnav and khushi rushed to them and kneeled down.

„Arun.." said khushi and held him in her arms.

Arun just looked at her and started chuckling. Khushi smiled and kissed his face.

„I missed you so much..all three of you." said khushi looked at her kids.

„Mom..i just wanted to say that.." ayaan started and looked at arnav then.

„Dad, i'm a teenager now. And i know that the most teenagers don't listen to their parents and do what ever they want to because they think going on parties and having many girlfriends makes their life better. But that's not what i want to be."

„Ayaan.." said arnav suprised and wanted him to stop talking like that.

„No dad, i want you to listen to me. Please."

Arnav just nodded.

„Dad, i just want you to know that..what ever happens in the future, i'll always be there for you and with you. I know right now you can't take my promise serious, but whem the righ time is here to help you, i will."

Arnav was proud listening to his son. Ayaan didn't wait any other second hugged his father tight. Khushi had tears in her eyes and smiled looking at them. Muskaan didn't understand all this at her age, so she just did what she knew the best.

"Daddy, i think you don't have to go to work now anymore. I think ayaan is ready to be a laad governer like you."

They all started laughing at her cute joke and stopped crying. Arnav pulled them all closer to him and they had their first ever family hug. Khushi was holding arun in her arms and arnav pulled her to him sideways so that she was laying her head on his chest. Ayaan hugged him just like she did only on the right side of him ans muskaan hugged arnav as usually, throwing her arms around his neck and laying her head on his shoulder.

Arnav felt a huge energy at this moment and he was proud of him and his khushi. They built a little family together with their love and care for eachother. He looked down to his wife and kissed her head. Khushi looked up to him. Arnav just smiled at her and kissed her forehead. Khushi knew why he did that, because she was feeling the same as arnav.

NEXT MORNING

Arnav woke up rubbibg his eyes. He lookend to the other side of the bed but didn't see khushi. He stood up and went to arun's bed. But he wasn't there either. Arnav got scared now. He opened the washroom door but khuhi wasn't in there.

„Arnav ji."

He turned around and saw her in a beautiful yellow saree. Her hair was still wet as she took a shower this morning. She was holding a cup of coffee in her hands. She stood infront of him and gave him his coffee.

„Good morning." said khushi.

Arnav took the coffee in his hand.

„Good morning, where is arun?"

„He's in the living with the others." said khushi tiding up their room.

„Kyun?..are they all awake?"

„Arnav ji, it's 11 am."

„What?" arnav looked at the clock and was shocked.

„How could i sleep that much?"

Khushi stopped tiding up the room and cupped arnav's face.

„Because you're tired and stressed. There are a lot things happening. But arnav ji, i'm always by your side. Forever."

Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead.

„How is nani?" asked arnav.

„She's awake but still she's not feeling better."

Arnav nodded and looked down.

„Arnav ji..she's in that age now. I don't think that nnsi wants to see us all cry before she.."

„No. No khushi she won't.."

„Lekin arnav ji.."

Arnav didn't want to listen to her he just got out of the room.

LIVING ROOM.

Arnav walked down the stairs and saw the family chatting in the living room. Mama was the first one who saw arnav.

„Arre, arnav bitwa, good morning." said mama.

„Good morning.." said arnav.

Lavanya and nk were playing with arun on the other sofa. Arnav walked to them, put his cup of coffee on the table and took arun in his arms. Arun started smiling and laughing when arnav started talking to him. He walked with him around the house but didn't stop his conversation with him.

„Mami ji..i never saw arnav acting like that." said lavanya.

„Haan..me too." said nk.

„It's because of nani, we should just let him be alone for a while." said mama.

Lavanya nodded and went to the kitchen to help payal with the lunch. Nk followed her as he knew why she left the living room.

„La.."

Lavanya didn't look at him, she just ignored him and continued washing the salad. Payal looked at him and he gave her a sign to leave them alone for some time. Payal nodded and left the kitchen to check her kids too.

„La..why are you behaving like this? We'll tell them when everything is fine." said nk and tried to hug her from behind but she pushed him away.

„No NK!"

She turned around and gave him an angry face.

„Why do we always have to wait for the right time? Is our marriege not that importnant as khushi's and payal's?"

„Of course not lavanya." said nk cupping her face.

„Then why do we always have to wait for us? Why?"

„Lavanya, we're the youngest here. We have to respect the others."

„I now, but respecting them doesn't mean to not tell them that their youngest bahu is pregnant."

„Shhh.." said nk and looked around.

„Seriously?" asked lavanya and just continued making lunch.

„La, you know what is happening with nani. I don't want to make us look like we're arrogant and only think for our future."

„Well, that's what you actually have to do nk. You have to think for our future but you don't want to.."

„La.." said nk and wanted to touch her arm and turn her but she just pushed him again.

„Don't touch me." she said without looking at him.

Nk didn't know what to do, so he just left her alone and went to their room.
