~~Phoebe's POV~~

We, Liam and I, rode through the rift and entered a dark tunnel. I could smell Hayden and Masons scent and I dug my heels into the horse, pushing him harder. As we entered the train station people started running away from the horse, away from us.

Pulling back on the reins the horse stopped and got up on its hind legs, causing Liam to almost fall off. When the horse settled we both hopped off. "I told you to hold on." I told Liam when we were both on solid ground.

"And I told you I hate horses." Liam muttered making me roll my eyes before I saw my two best friends standing in front of me. Not wasting time I ran to Hayden and wrapped her into a bear hug.

"Phoebe, Liam, when did you learn to ride a horse?" Hayden asked once hugs were exchanged.

"Just now," I replied and we all laughed.

"Attention all passengers, the train will be arriving in 12 minutes." The voice said over the speakers.

"Wait, I know that voice." I said.

"It's Corey," Mason said and I simply stared at my friend, my anchor. Mason has stuck with me from the beginning, through the tough times and the seriously impossibly tough times. To see him so torn up made me want to kill every ghost rider in the way just to see him smile with Corey once more.

"So let's get him." I stated and started walking before anyone could say any different.

"Attention all passengers, the train will be arriving in nine minutes." He said again.

"Follow the wires." Mason told me and soon we all stared at the ceiling and followed a whole lot of wires to the intercom room. I opened the door and stopped dead in my tracks because sitting in a chair with wires and tubes coming out of his skin was Corey. Mercury came out of those wounds and my heart broke staring at my friend in this condition, but it shattered at the look on masons face.

"Attention all passengers, the train will be arriving in eight minutes." He said normally but he was completely oblivious to us, his friends, in the room.

~~Lily's POV~~

Theo and I had taken down a few more ghost riders, me feeling conflicted about the gun use but I swore to myself that after this fight I will not handle a weapon again. "You know you look really scared holding that thing." Theo told me.

"Yeah well, after they've been shot at you and your family for the majority of your life you would probably feel the same way. Plus I'm killing people with it."

"They aren't people they are the enemy-." I cut him off.

"But they were people at one point Theo, like you and me. It's my fatal flaw that's getting in the way." I said and Theo stepped closer to me as I stared him in the eye.

"And what flaw is that?" He asked.

"My heart is to big," I answered. "My brother told me that and it's what makes me try and see good in everything. Right now I see souls robbed of their chance to go to heaven, that that I believe there is such a place." Theo simply stared at me before opening his mouth.

"I hate to say it but your brother is right, it's a flaw but it's also a good thing. In a world like ours we need people like you with big hearts, with innocence and rarity." He seemed just as surprised to say what he said as I comprehended what came out of his mouth.
