why is caring so hard,
or look down upon so much?
no girl wants to be clingy,
no guy wants commitment,
I ache to pour my heart out,
but nobody wants to drink it.
after all, to pretend it doesn't affect you,
is such a sleazy, easy thing to do,
but to love and to weep
to show some form of emotion
takes a resilience nobody appreciates.
