~Tessa Pov~

When I woke up it was 1 pm.  My day was already going bad from what happened.  I walked out my room downstairs to see Chance in the kitchen.  I was holding back tears.  He was on his phone but then he looked up to see me.

"Hi."  He said.  I didn't respond.

I open the fridge and got a water.  I had sat at on the stool by the counter and ordered postmates for myself.  Chance phone was right next to me.  He went to the fridge and opened it looking for something.  His phone went off but it was on vibrate so he couldn't really hear it.  It was going off multi times.  I got so annoyed of it.  I decided to see what it was so I looked over at it.  It was multi messages from Alex and all said "Why!?!"  and "I love you. <3"  "Please."  I was highly confused.  Then another message came in and I then knew why she was saying this.  "Why are you breaking up with me?!?"  When I read that a little smirk came across my face.  But I was still hurt.

"Hey Tessa..."  Chance said looking in the fridge.  I quickly stopped looking at his phone.

"Yeah."  I said still smirking a bit thinking about the texts.  He then turned around.

"Why are you smirking?"  He questioned me.

"Oh um no...no reason.  I really gotta go bye.  I said heading back upstairs into my room and just thinking of what could be the reason Chance broke up with Alex.  But tbh, i'm hoping im the reason why.

~Chance Pov~

I looked in the fridge trying to find my taco bell I had left in there.  I couldn't find it.  I was gonna just get juice.  So I turned around to see Tessa looking at my phone.  I knew she had to have been seeing the messages Alex was sending.  I didn't care if she saw because I wanted her so see I want her and I don't want anyone else.  She didn't notice me looking at her reading the messages.  I saw a smirk on her face.  I wonder what Alex said?

I didn't want her to know I saw her since she was trying to be sneeky.  So I turned back around looking in the fridge and asked her how come she had a smirk on her face.  Instantly she defines it and leaves.  I walk over to my phone to see Alex saying "Why are you breaking up with me?"  Know Tessa know I don't wanna be Alex.  Hopefully she knows I wanna be with her, and only her.
