Awkward

~Jake Pov~

I called Chance, Anthony, Justin, Ray, and Nick down to get started with the game.  Once they arrived we all voted on who should be the 5th grade and who would go first for the game.

"Okay who want's freshman to be the 5th grade."  Everyone in the room raised their hand.

"Okay freshman your the 5th grader."  Justin stepped up to the well...boxes we put as a podium.

"Wait isn't Tristan suppose to be coming?"  Questioned Nick.

"Yeah we won't officially start the game until he gets here."  I replied

"Okay."  Nick said.

Shockingly just as we were about to pick who would be going first agenst Justin, the doorbell rung.

"That must be Tristan."  I said.

"I'll get it."  Said a voice.

We all looked confused and looked around.  We then saw Christian.

"We thought you left!"  I said kind of scared.  I didn't know he was here.

"Oh i'm always here."   He said giving me a creepy look and then getting the door.  We all laughed.

He got the door and in walked in Tristan.  I was glad he didn't bring Tessa because I know she might not be comfortable by Chance.

"TRISTAN!"  I said to him.

"JAKE!"  He said.  We did our hand shake we had and then I said let's get to voting for our opponent.

"Wait Jake!  Tessa's here and she brought someone."  Tristan said winking.  I was confused and shook by what he said.  I was hoping she would be okay around Chance.  But I was also wondering who she brought.  I turn around and see Tessa and Kian.  I knew I heard something about them being a "thing", and i'm happy for her.  She 100% deserves to be happy.

"TESSA!"  I said happy to see her tho.  We hugged and  I said hi to Kian.  Walked over to where the rest of the guys were.

"Okay let's vote who should be our opponent."  I said.

"I think Tessa should."  Said Tristan.

"Agree."  Kian said.

"Well I think..."  Tessa began looking around the room.

"NICHOLAS!"  She said laughing and smiling.

"I think Tessa."  Nick said pointing at her.

"Okay I guess I agree."  I said.

"Tessa should."  Anthony said.

We all basically were looking at Chance.  Even tho we didn't really need his vote.  I didn't want to make it awkward...yet.  So I just cut him off before he could answer.

"OKAY!  Tessa it is.  Step up to the "podium."  and let's begin."  I said.

~Tessa Pov~

When I stepped into the room I immediately feel Chance staring at me.  I just ignored it and just looked at everyone else.  I knew he was most likely mad about seeing me with Kian but, me and Chance aren't together.

Since everyone voted me to go up to the podium I had to go.  I was hoping it was an easy question.

"Okay.  The question is..."  Jake started.

"Chessa or Kessa?"  I was shocked at what he said.  I thought I must of have not heard him right.

"Can you repeat that please."  I asked.

"Chessa or Kessa?"  Jake said with a smirk on his face.

"Omg."  I whispered so no one could really hear.

I kind of have feelings for Chance still.  But mainly my heart is with Kian.  I mean Chessa isn't gone.  It's like a... friendship.  Kessa is... well not a official relationship but almost.

Jake started to count down.  I saw Justin had already written his response.

"9...8...7...6...5"  Jake said counting down.

I quickly wrote down my answer.

"3...2...1!"  Jake said.

"TIME'S UP!  REVEAL YOUR ANSWERS!!!"  I took a breath and flipped my white board around.

"Okay Justin you said...CHESSA!"  Jake said sounding happy/shocked.

"The correct answer is... CHESSA!  That's a point for Justin."  Jake said holding up Justin's hand.

I stepped down the "podium and walked to Kian.  I wanted to look and see Chance's reaction but I didn't have the guts to.  I just didn't want to make things awkward.

Next up was Chance.  I was sitting on Kian's lap and I feel like I could sense the tense in the air.

"Okay!  Our question is...  Chessa or Chanthony!"  Jake said.

I was confused why Jake was asking questions that involved Chessa.  But I just let it go.  Justin and Chance were writing down their answers.  I know the game was just a joke but, secretly I was hoping Chance would say Chessa.

"Okay reveal your answers!!!"  Jake said.

Justin turned around his white board and it said Chessa.  I smiled thinking about all the things that happened before well... things went south.

Chance turned around his board and it was a heart.  We were all confused.  Was the heart suppose to be the purple heart? Was it for me or for Tony?

"What does that mean?"  Jake asked a Chance confused.

"I love both."  Chance said smiling then looking at me.  We looked into each others eyes and then I quickly turned away.  I just couldn't at that moment look at him.  All those thought came to mind.

"Umm... excuse me."  I said quickly getting off Kian's lap and running.  I ranned upstairs.  I didn't know where I was going but just some place quite.  I found a room and went into it.  I saw a bed and just sat on it.  I sat and cried.  Someone then opened the door.  I looked up and saw...
